I'll try to jump in here and help everyone out as well. A little background, I split time in Vegas and most of my good friends live there so what I'm giving you wont steer you wrong.

I'll start with the free/cheap booze part since thats always a good way to start. Forget all this stuff about video poker and blackjack while yes those will get you free booze you also stand the chance of losing money and I assume most of you are looking for cheap booze because youre on a budget. Go to the Bellagio Sports Book. Every other sports book uses a drink ticket system which means you make a bet at the window and the guy gives you tickets you can exchange for drinks thats not the case at the Bellagio though. If you sit down in the book you can order drinks at will. Just tip the cocktail waitress and shell keep coming back to take care of you, stiff her and youll still get free drinks theyre just gonna be coming REAL slow.

Onto hookers at clubs Ive never really encountered this before most of the hookers are at lobby bars not at the club. Though some of the really hot girls you see inside clubs are actually paid to be there to hang out with guys at tables who get bottle service theyre not hookers, usually girls who do promo modeling and stuff like that.

Suits in Las Vegas-While it is true almost all of the people you see inside a club now wearing suits are casino hosts or club hosts I dont see anything wrong with rocking a suit in a club and taking it back to old school Vegas and looking like class. Now with this being said it can get Africa Hot in a club so you might be sweating balls in a suit and if youre suit is nice (which it better be if youre wearing it to a club) youre not gonna want to set your jacket down just anywhere. Also, if youre wearing a suit youre obviously trying to give off the vibe that youve at least got a little bit of dough so save the suit for the nights youre either making a quick stop or getting a table and some bottles otherwhise youre just gonna look like a douche in a suit roaming the club.

Strip Clubs-Yes the Rhino is the best but its always INSANELY busy. While I totally agree and its my favorite spot I think most people on here would be better served going right down the street to Sapphires. The place is huge and the girls are good there too. The drinks are a bit more and bit smaller at Sapphires but you have a far better chance of finding a place to sit and if you want any chance of pulling a girl out of there you better have a place to sit. Someone mentioned about the girls taking advantage of you, Ive never really run into that but I know people that have. Pulling a girl out of either place is 100 percent doable and Ive done it quite a few times (I guess thats more for another post).

Hotels-Your best on the strip value is probably gonna be the Monte Carlo, its in a decent spot and people arent gonna look at you funny when you say where youre staying. Plus you can take the tram to City Center and the Bellagio for the free drinks I mentioned above.

Clubs-The best club far and away is XS but you better be ready to drop some loot if youre heading that way. If youre not a baller youre gonna be better served at a second tier club like LAX, better than that you should probably hit one of the "lounges" which is essentially like a club whereever youre most likely from like Tabu or Blush.

This is confusing, because you are using the handle Heretic to respond to my comments about Gmanifesto's ignorance of comps. Anyway, a rated average of $400 per hand will get Room-Food-Beverage everywhere.

No, I don't know comprehend "getting on that blackjack tip". I don't understand why you would get paid to bet someone else's money, unless you have skill and ability to bet without heat (which would be rare if you look 21). Unless your friend is much older than 21, I don't understand how he could have spent years gambling successfully at blackjack. I have published successful gambling books and my friends are professional gamblers. Sorry, I'm not trying to be snide or argumentative, but your post is unclear.

I live here in Vegas and the best thing you can do is not listen to "Internationalplayboy". The guy simply doesn't know wtf he's talking about.

Pool Scene - Topless pools are in (Bare at the Mirage for one), sexy women many of whom are strippers are there all day. Not everyone is topless but, because there are some 8-10s showing their goods, it gives a great vibe. Still the best pools are Wet Republic and Rehab for easy 5-7 hook ups and for a more intimate close proximity Tao beach is good too. Palms pool is also cool but, it's not quite the "hot" spot. Moorea is in Mandalay Bay and I wasn't crazy about it. I haven't been to Encore beach club, although I was hanging out with a waitress from there for a minute....

Suits- Bouncers, Hosts, and other people who work in a Casinos are wearing suits. You walk around in a suit here and someone is going to approach you, probably to ask where the nearest ATM is. I think the guys talking about looking good in suits must have watched Swingers and forgot those guys looked like chumps at a shitty casino.

Strip Cubs - Jack Frost pretty much said it all but, I'll add to that. I've got buddies who bounce at Rhino and Sapphire and Ricks. Because the places are also hangout spots, the girls are more open to being picked up. I once banged a girl after finishing the night there during a bodyguarding gig. It was 6am so you're gonna have to stay focused haha Hustler Club just opened and I'm hearing good things. Crazy Horse 3 is also descent.

Clubs - Again, Jack frost is right about XS, I spent a Saturday night on memorial day weekend there and guys were paying over 200 bucks to get in and some girls had to pay over 50- Surrender is also in Encore and it's a great place but, hasn't started popping quite yet. Tao is always a winner along with Mix, Haze, and Pure. It's easy to hookup here, especially if you're "someone". If you don't know anyone and you don't want to be another chump waiting in line, you're going to have to grease someone for a "line pass". Depending on the night think anywhere from 20-50 bucks per head. If you've got a table, your status in the club goes up quite a bit and so does the quality of girls you can get if you're a regular joe blow. Speaking of Blow...

Drugs - Anytime you try to get drugs here, you're going to have to pay a significant markup. Everyone who knows someone is going to tack on their fee. It's not my thing but, hey this is a report.

Prostitutes - Another error on behalf of "internationalplayboy". Chances are if he's never "met one" then they just didn't think he had any money. Every place in vegas has potential pros working. Some girls are 19 years old and you'd never guess. It will almost depress you. Anyway, they're everywhere. Some only do it once a month but, if you're dating a fine ass girl here chances are, they are strippers or "escorts". Like jack frost was saying above, some girls (who call themselves "models") are being paid to hang out with the guys at their tables and party with them. To me they're fucking escorts whether they fuck or not but there it is. I've done several bodyguarding gigs where the girls started out talking about how the guys paying better not disrespect them and by the end of the night their disappearing during the "suite party" at the hotel.

Hotels - plenty of great deals here right now. Mgm is going bankrupt and Hardrock is going into foreclosure. All of the casinos are reporting losses.

Shows- Believe it or not, there are some good shows for cheap. Donnie and Marie is actually a lot of fun and you'd be surprised about girls wanting to go. Ceasers always has a good lineup. At the Hilton there's a guy named Trent Carlini who does an Elvis show, he's the best guy in town imo. I just met a girl who's in the show Bite at the Stratusphere and I'm gonna check that out next week.

In conclusion, Kimleebj actually does give solid advice on where to start (on a few things) if you just show up here out of the blue whereas almost all the other guys are talking out of their asses. For a more in depth understanding read Jack Frost's post as well.

Jack and Fisto, thanks for the great new information (as well as confirmation and moral support). This thread is going well.

Posters have different abilities and bankrolls. Chaz is a highly skilled and experienced gambler, but Jack Frost warns about losing money chasing comps. My advice was for guys who are willing to gamble a little and spend 30 minutes learning strategy. With a little work and discipline they can get more in comps than they lose.

Deals and shows change. Rooms are cheap in the summer and December, and expensive during New Years Eve and National Finals Rodeo. As Fisto noted, bargains fluctuate depending on hotel occupancy. So you really need to shop around and get on the mailing lists.

I am clueless - I only noticed a hooker when she literally bumped into me. Or perhaps I spurned the sincere affections of a stunning, drunk, 6-foot tall, 19-year-old African American girl. :-)

Resurrecting this thread in the hopes Fisto might have an update.

I was there last week and only went to one club (Light - had a pass; Thursday). There wasn't anything special about the DJ, no event or celebrities, so no paid "escort/atmosphere models" either. Just a regular club night.

Hopefully it is not representative of all the other clubs in the area as it was a bit of a sausage party. I say "a bit" since there were a lot of women, but I've never seen so many serious ham beasts wearing black dresses in one night spot anywhere. I'm talking morbidly obese women with tight fitting dresses. Sad. There were a couple of hotties but damn glad I got a free entrance - nothing worth opening up the wallet.

The one positive not is it was not as loud as clubs tend to be - I could still hear myself think and talk to the person next to me without shouting too much.

Still wondering about Tao though - has that place been consistent?
