This girl approaches me on the train saying that I look familiar. I've never seen her before and she's unattractive, so I'm polite and just say we haven't met before instead of flirting as I would with a cute chick in the same situation. We go our separate ways. I never see her after that exchange.

About 2 weeks later I get a friend request from her on Facebook with a message about not seeing me in a while. I realized that she knows 3 of my friends from school. I'm looking through her pictures and she is friends with a few sexy girls. I message her back with short responses to see what she does and she ends up saying that she wants to get to know me and that we should message off Facebook. I ask for her number, she sends it to me and I haven't messaged her since.

I have a feeling that she likes me but I'm not interested in her. However, I do want to get some time in with her friends. Any thoughts on how I should play this?

Feels like a lot of time and work just to meet some random cute girls. I'd rather cold approach on the street and chances are i'd do better at the end of the night. You could try to get into her circle of friends but I still think it is not worth the effort and your time is better spent elsewhere in more productive venues.

This happens to me constantly something I've been working on preventing. I think you have to make sure the ugly one doesn't get to into you. Don't do anything that could be mistaken as flirting. You can infiltrate her friends this way but its tricky if she told them she likes you already

I wouldn't pursue it. You will be off limits to her friends because she's already put her stamp on you.

When I was in high school there was a group of girls from a town over that we would party with. One we nicknamed "Ice Skater" because she was tall, thin and feminine. Everyone wanted a piece of her. Her friend was nicknamed "Snaggle-tooth", for reasons you can imagine.

Snaggle-tooth had a huge crush on me and everyone knew it. I never got drunk enough to even consider banging her, so it went nowhere.

Years later I found out that Ice Skater had a big crush on me also, which I would have been super stoked on and the envy of all my friends, but good ole' Snaggle-tooth had already pissed on her territory, so I was off limits.

My honest opinion is your time is better served approaching other women as opposed to trying to pull a bait and switch on this broad.

It would be massive time and effort.

If you have a wingman willing to take the hit for you, message her that you've got a guy she'd like. Get her to invite a friend out for you and go and meet the 2 of them. It depends on your wingman though.

I have only been able to pull this off once so its probably very specific to the group. If 'snaggle tooth', to borrow from Rio, is low on the totem pole with her friends then you have to treat her as such. Go to hang out with her and her friends, be slightly mean to her, talk mainly to her friends.

I used this approach to spend time with a girl who had similar interests to me but I did not go for when I spent time with her. It turns out her roomates were not so nice to her either. So it was no problem when I connected via fb with her hotter and sluttier roommate and complained (remember girls love drama) that her friend wasn't really my time. She baited with "so what is your type?" and I described someone similar to her and "a bit more adventurous than snaggletooth" worked like a charm and I got the notch.

This will not work if her friends are actual 'friends' with her and not typical backstabbing girls.

Do hot girls know that they can take 95% of guys over their less attractive friend? Because personality is borderline irrelevant. Guys want hot girls.

Do they appreciate they are hotter than their friend?

Do they let their friend "shotgun" a gun out of sympathy?

I remember seeing a very hot girl with an ugly girl. They were friends. I felt really sorry for both as the discrepancy in their looks was impossible to ignore in any interaction with guys.

Questions I ponder.

You gotta feel her out. She might be down for dick on the DL and still be cool with you scamming on her friends. Just be cool about it and anything is possible.

If she's the least bit clingy it ain't worth it. She'll cockblock the shit out of you behind the scenes. You can handle that too but your game has to be real tight.

I think that OP is suggesting that she DOES NOT pass the boner test, and in that case, maybe just moving on would be a likely solution.

On the other hand, if she DOES NOT pass the boner test, I, personally, would probably play out the scenario for a while to see where it goes, and I would make sure that I make it clear to SnaggleTooth (to borrow from Rio) that you are not interested in her but you would not mind hanging out with her and her friends (with emphasis on her friends), at your convenience. If SnaggleTooth is doing all the work to set you up with meetings involving her friends (an not just SnaggleTooth), and you are making it clear that you are not interested in SnaggleTooth, to her and probably to the others in the group, then you never know that this networking could result in some bangs of finer girls, especially, if you may drop some hints to SnaggleTooth that you would like to be involved in any meetings that involves IceSkater (to again borrow from Rio).

In this regard, I would go with the flow for a little while in order to see how this plays out, but if the situation looks like SnaggleTooth is not really working with you and seems to be working against you behind the scenes, then to move on b/c it is too much work with only a small likelihood of ROI.
