the guideline is to go approach another girl if your target politely but firmly tells you she's not interested.

I've heard stories of guys still getting with a girl even after she tells him to fuck off a few times, but have yet to see this happen irl. One of my wings attempted this last weekend and got a tongue lashing in return. Continuing to reward her with interest in his case just reinforced to her that it's okay to continue acting rude.

Persistence in seduction? Hell yeah.
Persistence in approach? Grounds for police action. I would advise against it as a scared cat has every reason to try to fuck your life up (and girls are good at this).

And yes, I have friends who have had the cops called on them for being obnoxious approach idiots.
