I've heard Chilly Whites and Tiger Tiger are good. I saw there's an Oceana too there although i'm not too keen on that.

I am looking to study abroad and I visited the University of Sussex in Brighton last november.

I don't get why a lot of people say things like "stay away from England" when studying abroad because these places are truly international:
think:
-Spanish girls on exchange
-Russian girls doing their entire undergrad there
-Exchange girls from everywhere

And the local guys aren't much of a competition.

Sounds like a solid choice within Europe (Prefer to stay in Europe). Or does anybody have a better suggestion?

There are lots of attractive women at UK universities mastauser, people on this forum saying there aren't are chatting shit.

The people who diss England as a whole (like me) do so from an older perspective as most girls in England let themselves go after about 24. If you've got decent game you'll have plenty of opportunities with attractive girls 18-22 in Brighton.

There will be decent competition from guys, at night time anyway, I don't know where you got that from.

Lots of gays there though too. It's almost like an unofficial gay capital.

Applied for a job in the South of England and got an interview. It's around Aldershot/Farnborough, which I've only read about as being a hell-hole that's full of maniac Paras.

Hi fellas,

I'm new to the forum, discovered it totally out of luck when I was trying to find some information about British towns ! I've not game but I'll start to read other forums ASAP as it'll probably be very helpful for me if I want to learn how to pull women out of social circle.

Anyway next week I'll be hitting up the country for the first time. Still don't know where yet. I'll get a car to be able to move a little bit around and was thinking about either the Liverpool/Manchester area, Edinburgh/Glasgow area or around Leeds/Sheffield/York. Totally open to other suggestions too ! South of London maybe. London is not possible for me, can't afford it as I'll also stay a month in south beach in August.

Now my question is where do you guys think would be the best for me? I'm French, 28 and kinda look like Thierry Henry. I've always heard that you guys weren't found of us French, don't know if it's true though. Myself there is something I personally love about British chicks and if I already got my British flag in Phi Phi Island and Cambodia, it doesn't mean I don't want to have some fun while I'll be visiting.

Edit : Also My English is far from perfect which surely won't help.

I would advise going England to study, a degree from Britain holds a lot of weight, whether it deserves to or not is a different topic. There will be a lot of feminists in Brighton, but its a good party place. The beach is not a sand beach, but one of those weird pebble rock type beaches. The universities will be international without a doubt, and a lot of British girls who go university are good looking until half way through second year and then you really see them deteriorate. Too much cider drinking and whoring around I suppose.

But I think you will have a good time there, Brighton does have a way of sucking it all out of you though. Just be warned, the drug scene is very big there, hard drugs are everywhere. But you have just reminded me, there actually are a lot of hot girls and internationals there.

I got lost one day and ended up in Aldershot and it's one of the most grim towns I've been to.

Whilst I do agree with your sentiment, there's something to be said for just having 100% fun like these people, in contrast to the pretentious hipster types who frequent certain London clubs, going for status while not really enjoying themselves.

Genetic drain is a serious problem in so many dying towns across the UK. Lack of opportunity coupled to well meaning but ultimately counterproductive welfare programmes results in nothing but a downward spiral of local genetics.

Good point. If you're from Preston and have anything about you, you'd work/party in Manchester. If you're from Runcorn, it would be Liverpool. Luton...London etc.

^Brits have this love/hate thing when it comes to Americans. They love American culture but seem to dislike Americans brash stereotype.
I would expect the seas to part if you visit, downplay the fact you are from America.

The average person thinks America is cool, but I echo rudebwoy's statement.

As for the type of folk in that nightclub video...they're the equivalent of Americans who can't point out their own state on a map. I mean, do you really want to engage in a conversation with that bald guy who's off his head on pills? Haha

What sort of minority are you? If you're black, then English and Brits of all classes will think you're 'cool' due to rap music. If you're mestizo, then that's an unknown quantity (no Amerindians over here obviously - there's mestizo soccer players from South America, but they're pretty much seen as white), as I've discussed on other threads.

Then again, all that is pretty much moot, as Britain is much more divided on class lines rather than race/ethnicity. If you're an American, you're American, if you know what I mean, and if you're wealthy enough to travel here - you'd be seen in a favourable light no doubt.

London is different though, I think Americans are more common there. In a major city outside of London though, it would be a DHV I reckon.

Haha there's a club me and my friends go to regularly which is like this where I live in England.

When you do go its hard to not stare and gawk at the colourful characters that go there, i.e. trashy fat women with tattoos is the regular clientele.

However we go there because its the cheapest club and you do get some cute younger girls that go in there because it's cheap they're "rough diamonds" so to speak.

When we last went in there a few weeks ago there was a fucking homeless guy in there and i'm 99% sure he was homeless because he had the stereotypical homeless look and he stunk like shit, anyway he was on the dancefloor dancing rolling solo and also one of my friends vomited on some carpet and the funny thing was no one cared.

So these clubs can be hilarious and ive never not had a memorable night when i've been to it

I've been to some ropey clubs too, in my younger days at least. There's a well known place called Wigan Pier (well, the nightclub in that area) that my mates have been to, I never went, but from what I hear it's like that place in Preston, just more infamous.

Same sort of music (donk/bouncy house), sted-heads with their tops off gurning etc. It's funny, despite it being populated with pretty rough people, those sort of clubs are actually pretty safe, as everyone is just raving and stuff.

Playing this type of stuff. Gotta say, when it drops at 3:23....pretty sick.
