Norwegian air shuttle (budget airline from Olso, also a 3 star airline) has some really good deals to quite a few European cities from select major US hubs.

Air China has a nice sale from LAX to Ho Chin Min City, Vietnam (excuse the spelling) for winter/spring travel. Cost is in the low 800s for RT.

tip of the day:

Use sky scanner to do a reverse search for lowest airfares to a certain location.

So if you want to fly to Western Europe but prices are expensive just put a random country as the first option and everywhere for the 2nd one.

You might find that's it's cheaper to fly to Stansted and take a budget airline to Paris vs flying straight to Paris.

You're also able to search dates up to 4 months in advance.

Good time to book trip so the Caribbean from many East Coast cities and a few others.

I've seen fares to Barbados, Jamaica, quite a few other islands on Delta and Jet Blue for under 400 for travel in Jan/Feb.

Has anyone used wideroe.com?

They are a Norwegian airfare sight but you can search for flights from anywhere.

It seems like a quite a few of their flights do not include taxes/fuel surcharges in their fare. Making it ridiculously cheap.

I found a fare from LAX to Sydney in Feb for less than 550 Euroes (less than 800 in US) for a RT flight!

It seems legit but I am not sure. If you are American and you try to book you may have to tell your bank that it isn't fraud.

Again..Not sure but this sight seems legit its just a Norwegian booking site.


I also found dirt cheap fares from quite a few US cities to Paris/London/a few other European major capitals for under 450 (winter travel though)
