I've seen fares from Chicago to lax as low as 88 RT if you fly during the week. Weekend trips are about 150 RT.

Travel from sept to mid November.

Edit: looks like Dallas has a similar deal as sprit and united are going at it with AA hubs. AA also has cheap deals as well...just waiting on delta hubs but don't hold your breath..

WOW AIRLINES just announced flights from Toronto to Europe starting in May. Introductory fares start at 99 Canadian dollars one way!

Norwegian air has some very inexpensive deals to Europe from NYC. You do have to pay for baggage and meals but they do fly the 787 on many of their trans Atlantic routes.

Air fares are down in general for the last few months or so.

If you live near Toronto, Vancouver, or Montreal then it would be in your best interest to check out fares from those locations. Economy fares tend to be very cheap going to Europe along with business class fares.
