social proof , solo or with hb5 friend
Im attending a social event where I barely know the owner of a boutique. I was going to sarge it solo, but a friend of mine with fashion sense who is female hb5-6 ish is going to possible come with. I wondered if its better to sarge it solo or show up with a female friend when the female friend is not that hot, but very social savvy..

any thoughts?

Go with the friend.

Be social with everyone, don't go there to 'sarge'. If you're going to do that go to a bar or club solo.

Don't have an agenda. If you're a fun and social guy girls will naturally gravitate towards you and you will know when they flirt with you.

From there you can just isolate her.

Talking to a fat girl at the club is better social proof than trying to act all james bond alone at the bar.

And it has the upside of allowing you to relax socially and keeps you outside of your head.

I'd take her with you. Since she is "social savvy" and is knowledgeable about fashion, she will be able to get you in the door with different social groups inside the venue (which would be good if you are trying to get to know the owner better).

Also, she will be able to answer questions you have about some of the clothing or jewelry or whatever. That way, when you do enter different social situations, you won't make yourself look like a jackass.

There is no such thing as an HB5 (hot babe 5).

5s are by definition middle of the road.

To me, a 5 is a girl that I could only bang if I were drunk.
