I met this chick at a bar on Saturday, hit it off, and exchanged numbers. We continue flirting via text, and set up a date. She then asks me this:

Her: Sooo....am I gonna need money haha I don't get piad till Friday. I assumed since ya asked me lol.

I thought it was kind of a weird question, and I don't think a girl has ever said that to me before. How do I best respond without acting like a wimp about it.

I think this depends a bit on context.

If the venue for the date was your idea, and she merely agreed to it, then I don't think it's unreasonable for her to assume that you intended to pay for things.
On the other hand, if she suggested a place she knew would cost more than she had available, then she is probably just rudely trying to milk you for a free night.

If the venue was your idea just say "im used to splitting the check, if ur broke lets do something cheaper or reschedule after you get paid"
If the venue was her idea, I personally would just blow her off completely, but if you feel like she's still worth it then maybe offer to cook dinner for her at your place or something.

This is a good thing.

She just gave you the thumbs up to take her to the cheapest dive in your city. One where you drink out of bottles because only a fool would drink from their glasses. A place that doesn't even own a mop, they let the spilled beer & scuff marks clean the floor.

And of course, the date is drinks only.

Basically, this will go one of two ways:

1) She texted because she is self-conscious about not paying. This is a good thing. 'I am picking up both sides of this outing' should be your tease to her (she already gave you the opening).

2) She texted to let you know she is entitled. She will either balk at your dive bar or have a nose-up attitude. This is a good filter for your time (her nickel beer is all she is getting).

Dont be put off by paying for her drinks. Also dont be put off about putting your foot down about what you wont pay for.

One chick, I took her out for drinks on a first date near my place, and I paid, she didnt say anything about it. Then buzzed walking to my place shes like "I want some cookies" and stops into the store. She picks up two $1 packets of cookies and looks at me expecting to pay. Im like "You got this one"

She starts to flip out a lil right in front of the cashier "WOW OMG UR SO CHEAP UR SERIOUS? WOW I CANT BELIEVE YOU WHAT A CHEAPSKATE"

Then we went upstairs and went right to my bed and boned. She was one of the freakiest girls id been with in a while, and we didnt eat any of cookies angway, WHICH she kept in her purse abd took w her when she left.

Some girls will just try to get whatever they can out of you, only give her exactly what yoy want to give her
