I just have other qualities to compensate: I'm 6"3', I have a good face, perfect head shape, good sense of humour etc.

But take an average guy in height, looks, inner game etc. give him a shiny bald head in his early 20's and just watch the girls his age run from him with disgust.

Many times when I have trouble closing or when a girl is breaking up with me, she'll just mention the fact that I'm bald.

She'll say I'm bald, therefore I'm desperate and pathetic. I've had that problem with many girls, it's like they have good time with me, laugh all the time, forget my baldness.

Then all of a sudden they wake up: "What?! What am I doing with this guy, he's bald! I deserve better! I'm sorry we're too different!"

It's like all the girls dating me are OK with it because I have good game, but they're somehow aware that they're making a compromise by dating a bald man.

Just be aware of this: no girl in her teens or twenties has "bald" written on her shopping list when looking for a mate. Hell I even heard fat women saying they would never date a bald man.

I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have that problem if I had hair. Well, I'll see for myself if there's a difference when my transplant will have fully grown.

What are you suggesting RioNomad? That if I was buffed, these girls wouldn't dare breaking up with me?

Maybe you're right about the guys (yes because it's often guys) mocking me in public. They probably would tone it down a bit if I was huge.

Girls can pick up on your insecurities and use them against you. Being bald is a major insecurity with you and they use it to push your buttons.

I don't believe that women hate bald men. You may lose a point or two at onset, but you can easily gain that back. Any girl who has the requirement of "not bald" or "not short" is a girl that isn't worth an ounce of your time anyway. If you have confidence and the top of your head looks clean then your lack of hair won't make a bit of difference.

These suggestions apply to everyone bald or not. Women as a primary objective in life is relatively unhealthy. If it's your number one goal [To bang] an 'unhealthy overcompensation' attitude to your appearance will be the best way to achieve that goal. In the exact same vein; if someones primary goal is to win the tour de france, the harsh reality is that you'll likely need to take performance enhancing drugs. This is an extreme analogy but applicable none the less.

Balding men account for roughly 10-20% in their 20's. They are the minority. Every single man on this forum however, at some point or another clearly had trouble with the opposite sex. This means 80% of guys with hair, weren't doing so well.

Every guy wants to be that person that doesn't have to lift a finger for pussy. Hair loss or not 99% of people aren't that guy.

The harsh reality is that if you want to get extreme results you need to take extreme actions:

-Get a tan [Risk Skin Cancer]
-Get jacked [Take Gear - Risk Health]
-Big nose [Fix it]
-Weak Jaw [Fix it]
-Poor Style [Fix it]
-Weak Game [Fix it]
-Hair Loss [Overcompensate with the above]

It sucks - but if anyone desperately wants to be 'that guy' - Outside of winning the genetic lottery you have weigh up the pro's & con's of what's going to allow you to get what you want.

Fred, I'm bald and started to in my early 20's. I understand how you feel. At first I felt the same way, but over time I realized the hair didn't matter. Especially since I was still dating the same quality of women.

The way to fix hair loss is let go of your attachment to it. You are both the prisoner and the jailer.

If we want a woman to realize we are special, unique.

Hair is not unique, everyones has some.
Muscles are not unique, most have them too.
Same goes for clothes, cars, etc.

Women are in love with the masculine. A man who lives his life with purpose, who is strong emotionally/financially like a rock, can sacrifice, is not self-indulgent, can take action in the world and protect, is independent, and shows no fear in the face of the feminine.

Being the best man you can "naturally" be, spiritually, physically, and financially will show your worth as a man and women will be attracted to it. That's your cure.

Finally, don't divide us as into those who have hair and those who don't. We are all men.

Depends on how bad it is. Sometimes there is nothing that can be done.

In another thread I wrote about how my brother had fairly aggressive hair loss from the age of 20. There is no cure currently.

His hair loss was too aggressive to replace the entirety of what he lost. What he ended up doing was get [As you said] FUE to frame the face. Obviously the top & back are still thin/visibly bald but it makes a difference.

That probably should have been one of my other factors on top of all the 'overcompensation' points.

Nah, the double standard is all in your head, at least on this forum. I haven't read anywhere, on this forum, that people are telling someone it is ok to be fat.

I have shaved my head for years. The quality of girls actually went up when I stared shaving. I have never had a girl say anything bad about my head nor have I had guys openly taunt my beautiful cranium. It's all because you don't know how to rock it.

The viciousness of people commenting is that they know or hope that you are screwed for life. They want to feel superior to you by shoving it in your face.

That kind of response shows how people who do not have this problem are oblivious of what a nightmare it is for the individual. The "it's all in your head" is especially rude. Hair loss is a silent epidemic that society doesn't allow you to talk about, you're not even allowed to talk about it on forum for men.

You didn't understand what I was saying. When a fat guy asks advice, you will tell me to get up from his ass and start losing weight, but when a guy ask about solutions for his baldness (like in this topic), you will say to him: work out, become rich, buy new clothes, but rarely "gain some more hair by having a hair transplant!"

I'm not whining, just stating the reality of the situation for young bald men. It's not just me, I see everyday around me and in stories friends tell me. The fact is you don't (nor I) have hair. What they are saying is the truth.

I remember when I was in India and one the the people who sells stuff on the beach made a joke about my head looking like a coconut. We all laughed. After that, I went into my rental and banged my hot Russian girl for many hours.

I don't recommend hair transplants because I'm not interested in them. I don't want to take drugs in order to keep hair. I rather shave my head and get on with life. The hair transplant won't solve your problems, man.

I'd just like to avoid these situations when I'm mocked in public, or some women rejecting me off the bat because I have no hair.

A woman I approached said to me bluntly: "No I could never date you, bald men are not my thing". Or once I got: "I have to be able to run my hand through my boyfriend's hair, admit that it's nice when you do it to your girlfriend!"

Denying that being bald means instant disqualification for some women is just being delusional.

Who gives a shit what they sang? The moment you take it as a joke and can laugh at yourself, the moment the slagging stops. When I started losing mine I buzzed it straight away - I thought 'I'm going to look like this eventually, so may as well get used to it now'. I'll often preempt people and make a joke about it myself.

I lifted when I had a full head of hair, I still lift now. Not to 'overcompensate' but because I love the endorphin high I get from exercise, and feeling fit. Look at Kelly Slater, he's completely bald and is not a 'roid head'. Doubt he has any problems slaying chicks.

It's hair mate. It's not as if you've suddenly become a mutant or lost a leg.

How much is a hair transplant, $15K? Money better spent on a 6 month round-the-world trip in my opinion.

I wouldn't waste money or time worrying about something that's out of your control like hair loss. Focus on the stuff you can control.

The thing, they did not do it simply to have a laugh, they wanted to humiliate me in front of the whole bar. They would never have dared to do that to a fat person. Because it's acceptable to take baldness as a joke, but not obesity, which is manageable.

I paid 6000$ for my hair transplant. I thought a lot about it, for two years. Nothing could make me happier in life. Not lifting, not drowning in pussy, not even becoming a millionaire. It's not only for the opposite sex, it's also to feel good about what you see in the mirror. You can't deny confidence often stems from looking good and most of all thinking you look good.

I'm sure all bald guys would take their hair back in a heartbeat if there was an easy cure. This is silly to believe that hair loss cannot be controlled, we might not have a full-blown cure (hence the title of this topic), but it can be managed through medication, surgery and even make-up.

Kelly Slater is celebrity for god's sake, he would get women even if he had half his face burned off. Speaking of celebrities, just imagine George Clooney looking like this:



He would just lose his status of sex-symbol immediately, and his career would most likely be over. Well, maybe he could play in Expendables 4 though.
