What ever happened to this idea, did it ever come to fruition? I'm in Brazil right now but I've been thinking about moving to Southeast Asia to be able to hang out with lifestyle design people. If this is still happening I would like to be a part of it.

This original project was a very good one. It did get off the ground, they had a sick pad in Bali and I believe in a few other places in SEA but also in Brazil. However, I haven't heard back from them. The idea was a good one and had a lot of potential.

The best group of lifestyle designers/internet markets/nomadic entrepreneurs is the DC forum. These guys are all over the world but the main hot spots they can be found are Bali, Indonesia, BKK and Chiang Mai, Thailand, Manila, Cebu and Davao in the Philippines, HCM in Vietnam and there a few in Central America and also in Brazil.

Looks like it's on! Anyone has been to their previous events/projects? Anyone going to the next one this fall? I would have gone but I'm already booked to attend the DC's annual convention in BKK in October and then off to the Canton Fair in Guangzhou.

Went to one of their events for a month. Great if you have never been out of the country for an extended period of time as you have a kind of built in support group to chill with. Bali is a very beautiful place so great location. Dont expect to get a lot of pussy during these events, but you will learn a lot of things from the other biz peeps and get to relax a lot. Good springboard for lifestyle design if you already have a source of location independent income. Recommended for someone new to long term travel outside of their home country or about to turn a corner on their biz.
