Mexico is something every brotha should experience IMO. Germany was on par but German women would approach and let you know they are interested. This is 06 Germany, I dont know how 13 Germany is.

I think Mexico is having a renaissance right now. It's just a cool spot to be at. I haven't even hit GDL yet but that's on the agenda. DF and Playa del Carmen are both dope. It's just a different kind of energy that's taking place at this moment which I'm not seeing anymore in the US. People are doing better than before, the economy is growing pretty rapidly, and you can see it in the way people socialize when they go out. The security situation is also very good for those places I mentioned in particular. I guess it's the relatively conservative nature of the country that is the reason it's not brought up much.

I totally agree. Mexico is growing economically and their is a renaissance going on right now. The country is become more liberalized than aver before. Those old ideas of the conservative colonial times are dying and are dying fast. A lot of women down there are hip to the idea of feminism, since they have been a "Macho" country forever. Not sure if its a good thing or a bad thing but ONS within the Mexican people are not uncommon anymore and many women in Mexico nowadays are getting trash drunk in parties all over the country when 10 years ago it was very frowned upon to see women do that. Also there is lots of American customs being imported into the country. Although Its good for Mexico that they are growing as a country, I fear that they will become so Americanized that they will end up losing their culture and be a mini copy of the US. I even heard that the media down there is trying to shove the Thanksgiving holiday down their throats. Hopefully it wont be too bad but I fear Mexico will not be the same 20 years down the road.

What!?! I'm black and on the east coast. we don't have any Mexican-American vs African American hate going on. that's foreign to us here. But damn, I didn't know that all the Mexican-American gangs going hard at the black gangs made the Bloods and crips actually come together. HUH?! I guess I need to get some normal Mexican Americans to start a hate campaign against black people which might then have the effect of making us come together and stop all this senseless black on black violence. On a serious note, Houston, you are right-this whole racism thing in general and the whole African-Americans who hate Mexican-americans and vice versa is just plain stupid. I can't for the life of me get it. It's not the fault of good Mexican-americans or good African-americans- that shit is about stupid lames who happen to be (unfortunately) African-americans or Mexican-americans. they give us a bad name with one another. Lameness. I had a great time in Monterrey a few weeks back. I think I posted on another thread butno issue with hate. I did miss out on D Bar though. Waited in the front for 40 minutes and the bouncers wouldnt look our way. It was what it was plus my boy wasnt dressed to impress. Where we partied at that night was straight money. All blanco people with crazy bread. Mostly kids but most we intrigued with us and a few opened. Planning on making Monterrey a monthly trip.

My Dad drives through Mexico every year to get to Belize. I have made that trip over ten times. We have been hustled by the Feds maybe four times. Nowadays the Feds hook us up with food and drink and are in love with my Sisters haha.

I personally am in love we Mexico and havent had any issues in my travels.
