OP could have done better in SE Asia...could have found a younger and better looking girl(s). Of course to each their own. I've seen many 40+ guys importing Asians where I live. That's the ultimate FU to local women!


The risks and logistics of bringing a woman from SE Asia are much higher and more difficult than the EU. You need a financee visa, commitment to marriage long term etc for them to live here permanently. With a woman from the EU there are no travel restrictions, although people from Bulgaria and Romania have work restrictions until January 2014

My girlfriend does not currently work, but will be looking for a job in January. In the day time she learns English on the Internet and does the gym 3 times a week. She's loves the UK (except the weather).

Took her into town at the weekend and although there is the occasional good looking local woman,the majority are over weight, have little style and you just know that they will have attitudes from the moment you start dating them. The amount of fat/overweight English women you see dating slim English men says everything about how bad the dating market is here. Game or no game the supply of quality single attractive women is not there in my opinion

The UK has been a highly class-segregated society for longer than any other Western nation, this has meant that over time almost any decent female has been co-opted by the aristocracy.

At 'prole' level, there are dear few physically attractive women. On the continent, one can find an 8 working in the lowest of jobs (fast food, convenience store, cleaner etc.) whereas in the UK, this is rarer then hen's teeth.

This is combined with a completely decayed culture in which behaving in a feminine manner for the average British woman, has become as foreign as traversing the Pacific ocean is to a whale trapped in a SeaWorld theme park.

If you are into women who are not repellent, the solutions are;
a) Make a colossal amount of money, to which point you gain access to aristocratic social circles.
b) Move to somewhere where the women have not become gross caricatures.
c) If moving abroad is absolutely 1000% impossible, Import, as the gent who started this thread has done.

Interesting situation you have.

Do you worry about her cheating on you with other men once she starts working? Seems a 29 year old Bulgarian woman will have a lot of 20-30 something year old guys hitting on her regularly. My friend is 46 and has an attractive, and educated, 24ish year old Thai girlfriend. I worry if he takes her to the states to get another degree as they talk about she will realize her value there is through the roof, and who knows what happens with their relationship then.

Also, do you two like each other? You say you know it isn't based on love, but does she like you? Is it a pretty cold relationship, or do you thinks he enjoys spending time with you, and actually cares for you? It would be difficult for me personally to have a relationship with a girl if I felt the only reason she was with me was for money, and that there was no other emotional attachment. Of course money and security always plays into the equation, but I wouldn't want it to be the only factor.

Yeah it's a possibility she could cheat on me in the future, but I am not worried about it. If she cheats then the relationship is over, I won't want her back (she knows this).

I really like her, care for her and want her to do well in life and I think she has similar feelings for me. Is she in love with me, nope not at all, but what is love these days. My view is don't fall in love, it does you no favours if things go wrong.

In terms of looks she definitely does not have model looks, but she is attractive, slim, feminine, 29 year old that is looking for a long term relationship. As stated earlier the chances of me meeting an English woman either in a bar / online / though friends, fitting this description would just not happen.

Okay so how has it being going? Well first of all I will not pretend that living with a bulgarian woman is some form of paradise as it is not. Women are women whether they are foreign or English and at times they are hard work to live with.

As someone on this forum said women are "Biological takers" and men are "Biological givers", make no mistake your Bulgarian women is just like your English woman and will take from you. The key difference I have found is that they do "give" you something back whereas your English woman in my experience gives you nothing and takes all.

My girlfriend does all the cooking and cleaning and does not moan about it. Occasionally she will ask for help with the dishes to which I always say "no that's your job" (once you start doing these thugs it become the norm, so don't do them is my advice). In return she has no money worries, gym membership and has a really high standard of living in one of richest countries in the world (for a woman's what not to like in the UK). She seldom drinks and will have 2 glasses of wine at the most and I have not seen her drunk only merry.

I am under no illusions that the relationship is not "free" and is based on love, as it is not. The bottom line is that i am paying for her living here and she is getting a good quality of life. In return, I am living a with an attractive sexy 29 year old woman and at this moment in my life I am happy. We did have a couple of bad months, the amount of sex dropped (she was ill), however I have made it quite clear that I need regular sex and the relationship will have problems if my needs are not met (try having that conversation with an English woman)

What I would say is that for any guys who are looking for a long term relationship and are fed up with the same old Anglo women, you could do a lot worst than give it a go with a Bulgarian woman, sure they have their faults (all women do), but compared to your typical fat lazy Anglo woman there is no comparison. Also from Jan 2014, Bulgarians are able to work in any EU country without any visa restrictions. If you are looking for a relationship my advice would be start pipelining now with a view to them moving next year if the relationship develops.

I appreciate your candor. IMO, this situation can certainly work as long as both of your needs are being met. You have a need for a beautiful, feminine, young woman who makes you feel good. She has a need for a financially secure life in a more modern country with all its benefits. Relationships work best when there is an equal exchange of energy or fulfillment of needs.

If I have learned anything in the past few years, it is that relationship are all about fulfilling needs. The "true love" that most of us desire is an illusion and transient at best. If you are a romantic as I, this is a hard pill to swallow, nevertheless true.

Any woman born in the Western World will suffer from the disease of entitlement, if you can get a woman who did not spend her youth in this region then you stand more of a chance.
The OP chose the right option, he also has the right mindset. If she leaves then he can do the process all over again, the joys of living in the UK and having a plethora of countries to choose from.

I was quite pleased that I found a Bulgarian woman who had not been abroad. When she travels somewhere new I can see the excitement in her. Not so with your English woman who has been to Paris/Florida/Italy several times before and in all honesty she would rather be there with her girlfriends than her man.

Her friend who is better looking has been living in Switzerland for 3 years - in my opinion she is already damaged goods.She's seen the rich western lifestyle and won't settle for less, it will take a wealthy foreigner to meet her needs.

Actually a good friend of mine has a beautiful Bulgarian girlfriend. They are both vegetarians so that makes it easier for them I guess. They were on and off together for the first 4 years (!!!) but now live together in Germany. She is 14 years younger than him, much smarter than him, but came from a very poor family. He found her on that sesile.com website. Actually I think the problems they had in the beginning were because he felt inferior next to her and that made him angry. Then somebody advised him to see things in different prospective and just feel lucky to have a smart young chick in the house/bed instead of comparing himself to her all the time. It seems he tried to do that and it worked.

I've heard this already : "I am a bank supervisor-manager". Several times, from EE women. Might be they are saying the truth, might be they were actually more like, unemployed or low-level assistant at a local Bank. In any case, a job does not define a person, especially not a woman.
