If you fly Southwest, they have open seating and when you board the plane you can just sit next to a hot girl if you see one already on the plane. I did this about a week ago with a 7, unfortunately I only got her facebook and she didn't seem like the dtf type but it's still a pretty good consolation for getting stuck with a shit boarding group.

If you build some rapport with a girl before boarding the plane, and both of you have a window/isle seat but would like to seat together, it should be fairly easy to ask someone to change their middle seat to a window one.

Update, just banged the everloving shit out of that girl. We met at a lounge (The Lounge inside The Hotel at Mandalay Bay, thanks Gmanifesto) We were the only 2 there. Typical situation where we had drinks, kino, escalate, then she says "so what's the plan for tonight"? I just said "We're going to spend more time together and get to know each other. But Biblically". She thought that was funny. She followed me back to my place, and I made her squirt so much, I think I'll just do laundry now.......

The Hotel in Mandalay Bay is my all time favorite spot to be when you already have girls cooking. (No hooting and hollering tourist fools, mellow, somewhat tranquilo and low profile). Plus, girls who know what's up will appreciate your style and taste.

I love chilling in near empty Vegas lounges with fly girls. No one to bug you, and you can really get a lot of rapport going with bartender/waitresses which lead to pro-bono drinks.

I just arrived in Sao Paulo, Brasil and saw a SMOKIN HOTT chick just sitting by herself at this cafe Inside the Airport International Arrivals Area (Cafe Viena), playing with her hair and looking around very sexy... I was waiting for the airport bus to take me to my hotel and on my Macbook just banging out some work when I threw her this little hand wave and she smiled back so I invited her over for coffee at my table. Turns out she was waiting for her friend to arrive via Salvador, Bahia. In my horrible Spanish/Portuguese found out she was from Caracas, Venezuela and just here for a modeling gig. So we talked for about 15 minutes about Caracas and I automatically got her interest since I have been there about three times and know the scene a little bit. Especially when you are flying back into your home city and see a chick who is obviously visiting you can offer to show her around and kick it while she is there and Vice Versa when you are in a new city and see a fly local girl definitely chat her up about goings on in the city. Hey. Pretty much a noob on this forum.

The international flight is interesting because you cannot possibly be stuck next to this girl the whole time. Don't you need to get up and move around? The sixteen hour flights are my favorite because you can make friends all over the plane and the flight breaks up into phases because it's so long. If you then throw booze into the mix, never know what might happen. I think there is plenty of time to slowly build up tension and release it. If anything you have someone to sleep on.

I think if you stayed stuck forever it would be annoying and turn into a drag and possibly get tunnel vision and whatnot.

One time I was on a train and approached this girl by herself. She was so freaked out at first so I had to do a lot of talking for her to relax. Once she calmed down I sat next to her and things got better from there. I had met some other people on the train so this served as social proof or whatever. It was like it's cool I know people around here and I like you so let's make this ride interesting. Nothing happened but we still talk and she always refers to how we met. It's like magic to them.

I fly a lot and I almost never get to sit next to a girl that is even remotely attractive. If that was to happen, dealing with her for 12hrs would be the least of my worries. I got so pissed off that I never get to sit by any hotties that I actually developed two strategies for gaming girls on flights. (It took me a long time to figure these out too. The products of thousands and thousands of miles sitting all alone and bored out of my figging skull.)

1. I start gaming in the waiting area. I arrive early and immediately pounce on anything good and available. (Standard opener: do you live in the [destination] or just visiting?) Now, this is the good part, I will actually go and sit with her when she boards the plane. I usually tell her before hand this is what I am going to do. She will say what if the seat is taken. I will say don't worry about it. When the person sitting there arrive I just tell them, hey, I just ran across my friend here, would you mind switching seats? I am in 23A. Works every time and the girl is always impressed by how you handle the situation. Then I just treat it like we are on a date somewhere. Once I had sex right in the seat on a red eye flight to London. Once the lights went out I pulled a blanket over us and she turned on her side and pulled down her pants just pass her butt...just like spooning in a bed but just not as comfortable. If anyone passes by they will think you are just sleeping and holding each other.

2. If you get there late, wait to board last. Then just walk down one side of the plane scanning to see if there are any girls you want to hit on with an empty seat next to them. If you find one just take it.

Both of these strategies also work for trains and buses.

then this family of annoying indians sat around us..and the girl in our row smelled like she hadnt showered in days..it was so bad..the latin chick traded seats and sat behind him.

But when we got of the plane..and she got a call...I overheard her cussing out her babies daddy over not bringing her 2 or 3 kids to the airport or some shit.
she didnt realize i could understand some spanish.

I've had good luck on planes. Last time I flew ATL>NYC I sat next to a cute girl a few years younger. After several drinks we were in full on banter mode. She was reading cosmo to me and talking about how she stimulates her clit and saying how was going need to change into sluttier clothes once we landed (I think she was making a long-distance booty call).

Flying JetBlue and i get paired with some old lady that started elderly chatting me as soon as I sat down. I was hungover from being at SET till 6am that morning and this was a 10am flight. Great ass which I saw when she got up to use the restroom. At first there was a seat between us. But I purposely spoke softly so she was forced to lean in. This lead to the logical conclusion of her asking me to move to the seat next to her. We had a great conversation for the duration of the flight about anything and everything. I had her laughing a lot. We talked about going for a run in Central park. At the end of the flight she reiterated how much she enjoyed the conversation and how it made the flight go so much faster.

Some troll in the adjacent row was eyeing me heavily during this. Probably never seen someone cold approach on a flight before. Come to think of it, I never have either. And this is the first time I've done this. I number closed her at the end of the flight with the possibilities for drinks, but I never texted her this weekend.

Good insights gained in this thread.

Another development in this area is budget airlines. No business class advantage. Also, the flights are shorter, normally 3-5 hrs.

For gaming passengers, does one have to talk (game) the entire time? Would the connection weaken if one decides to watch a movie/sleep and decide to re-engage again later?
In this case, is it better better to arrange the date and time of the meetup at the airport when separating or is it better to call/text her later?

For gaming stewardesses, budget would mean no chance to display status. How would the game change here? When do you open her? On the way to the lavatory? How to engage her or should we engage her when she is wheeling food/drink carts? Any interesting openers are welcome.
