Cool added my piece on Atlanta...kind of a differenct city with different factors than the ones mentioned because of the large black middle class and entertainment industry and you cant really call those guys Hipsters as alot of them fall in the grey area of trapper or rapper or sometimes both...I need a name for Black Douchebags like Bipsters (Hipsters) and Buppies (Yuppies).hmmm.

Haha, yeah I see that in a lot of places. Either Ed Hardy/Affliction wearing juiced up guidos, or bearded, Clark Kent glasses wearing hipsters on their iPads.

G is right, Vegas is 100% douche and no hipsters, and SF is the exact opposite. I'd prefer to live amongst the hipsters if I was forced to choose. I can't be around those Ed Hardy guido types with gelled hair.

Yep, Vegas is 120% douche. I didn't even know what hipster was until I dated a chick from Manhattan. Everyone's a little douchy one way or another, no matter if you are a biker, skater, singer, dealer, hustler, it seems like everyone's got a little douche in them out there. Everyone has a hustle too in Vegas.

Tough to say in a city as spread out and diverse as this. But in Hollywood, it's almost all douchebags. Downtown, East side(Silver lake, Ecco Park, Los Feliz, Eagle Rock) it's hipster haven. But here you have other things going, you got the gangstas which are into their own thing and then you've got the sort of Yoga/Surfer/Vegan/Green/SWPL types on the coast from Venice up to Malibu.
