Don't worry for me. I don't wear suits in vacations because I find that overdoing and playing the big fish in a bond is rather ludicrous. It just screams out the try-hard faker. I simply wear casual but refined designers clothes - Zegna or Kenzo black, dark green or dark blue shirts (I don't wear Boss which is a rather low quality brand) or pullovers, Diesel jeans, a designer belt, 700 € Weston dress shoes, ect. Sobriety at its best. I also wear 25 €/pair Falke socks and Zegna underwears because I think that class is not only in what is visible, but also in invisible details.Details like luxury glasses, a fancy watch, nice scarfs and gloves in winter, ect. And a 4000 € coat. Winner.

BTW about detaills I hope that you wear with your suits accordingly accessories. Nothing is more pathetic than a guy wearing a suit and a 300$ watch or 400$ low quality dress shoes (low quality includes brands like Prada or Armani that fabrics its shoes in China). Arabic guys do it here in Paris. They wear in clubs suits and replica or shitty watches, bad quality shoes, ect. Really really pathetic. And BTW if you play the biznessman you better have a Visa Infinite card also - you won't whine about a 500 € bill if you wear a suit.

As a side note, this suit talk makes me think about the old trick of (fake) business card with "Director","President" or whatever used by sex-weaned tourists in FSU, who think that girls will be impressed and that they will have a quicker access to their panties with this stratagem. Anyway I'll agree with you that when going into a club cold, there is absolutely no guarantee that you will score. I have gone home alone many many times, just as any guy has. Sometimes my fault (too drunk, too lazy, ect), sometimes not. Sometimes the best you can do is just getting a couple of phone numbers, some light kissing or fondling ..or nothing. You are certainly correct. But do realize those guys with the fake business cards did work a decade ago. Like anything else, when hordes started doing it, it become a joke.

I am not a real specialist, but admitedly some "upper-end" brands sell licences to anyone, with as a result average quality with fabrication in China (Prada does it for its shoes, but many french brands also do it), and only the montage is made in Italy, so they can stamp "made in Italy" or "made in France".
