I used to be world top at pokemon diamond / pearl when I was 15 lol. Too bad you couldn't make any money with it then.

Age of Empires 1 was a blast too. We were one of the few families with 2 computers at the time and I played LAN with my friends in the weekends.

Colonization, Civ 2, Fallout 1+2, Jagged Alliance 1 and especially 2 (probably the best game ever?), Starcraft 1 + 2, honorary mention to CS 1.6 the only shooter I ever played for longer periods of time and Europe 1400.

Resident evil Directors Cut.

My mom got it for me for xmas when I was 11-12. Every night after she would goto bed I would cut open the tape with a razor, play until the wee hours of the morning, seal it back up, put it under the tree, catch a few hours of sleep, and goto school groggy as hell.

Had that game beat before I opened it for Xmas.

A girl I knew was super into it (or so I thought) as well, she and her friend would sneak through my bedroom window and watch me play every other night or so. She kissed me after I beat the final boss at the end and I still thought "damn this girl must really like resident evil."

Now, there's one videogame moment that will stick with me forever. I can remember exactly where I was when I first saw this. I was so blown away with the storyline and when this shit went down I seriously got chills down my spine. This is by far my most favorite video game moment of all time:

The game was merciless in its controls - you had to time those jumps just right or you'd find your character impaled on floor spikes.

Old games tended to be hard. Another tough old video game is Ghosts and Goblins. Games this unforgiving wouldn't sell today.



One hit and your character lost his suit of armor and was running around naked. Another hit and you're dead.

Gave up games two years ago to pursue real life, but in my day here were the best: Link to the Past, Sim City 2000 Civilization, River City Ransom, any SMB especially Super Mario Galaxy, Red Dead Redemption, MGS4, and probably the goat, Super Stardust HD in 3D. Give up the games though fellas, they are a tool from the feminist machine to keep you complacent and subservient to the feminist imperative and thusly to the man. They are hella fun though, and really amazing works of art.

I remember in middle school I hadto trade my friend my kadabra to evolve into Alakazan. Dude never gave him back.

Tekken 3 for PS1. Man, lots and lots of drinking with that game... If your friend beats you up and get "Perfect" you down the whole glass!

As for mobile games, my favourite pretty far is Tanktastic. Who doesn't like playing tanks online on mobile phone?

YES! Many hours, many quarters and many cups of coffee disappeared at our local truck stop playing this. It was the perfect machine. Lots of challenges and multi-ball chances and a balanced playing field, i.e. no chutes/bumpers that shot the ball directly past the flippers. This machine is definitely in my future man cave.

Turtle Ninja on the first Nintendo and Super Nintendo
Gouls and Ghost, on the Super Nintendo, that game was the shit back then!
Winning 11 I played a lot that game!
