Hmm, I really don't go out at night much, but in terms of bigger venues in Miami I've been to some club in SoFi which name I can't recall, would be funny if it was Amnesia, (it was too "Miami fabulous" for me), the Vagabond (hipster) and Grand Central (for some live show) downtown and Renaissance at the Gables (much older crowd and disco agh); in Ft. Lauderdale been to Off the Hookah (again, too typical club environment for me), some other club close by, maybe the Green Room but I'm not sure of the name and Culture Room, again, not sure if that was the name.

I suppose those were the more mainstream ones, Never went to Liv or places like that, but I've been to a few other ones with more of an alternative crowd. Too bad that where I like the music the girls are ugly and where I hate it the girls are good looking.

Well, it can't be that big a problem for you, it hasn't been called Amnesia for a year or so (it is now called Story).

Like Vitriol said, in Miami for the non-club goer "There's plenty of bars, lounges, concerts, art galleries, restaurants, etc."

Not to mention the best hotel bars in the world.

And the greatest nighttime street Game in the world.

Clubs are easy.

1. Show up by yourself
2. Dress sharp
3. Dance well
4. Have cash on you and always flash a Benjamin when ordering drinks (tip 50% until you are well known)
5. Stand at the vortex spots and open
6. Cut everyone for drinks because of step 4

If by clubbing you mean...

1. Show up in packs of dudes
2. Have no personality
3. Get a table with goose and nurse it like it is your first born child
4. Wear a rolled up long sleeve t-shirt un-tucked with dork written on your head
5. Pay with credit card and "close your tab out" (implying they have no idea if you will tip well in the future or B trying to save cash bc you're not well put together).

Then yeah the second type of clubbing sucks.

I've never been a big fan of clubs. I can't stand the constant noise, though I like to dance. I prefer bar/lounges with nice music, and maybe an area where you can dance. In the last 10-15 years, the hotel bar has taken off as the places to go. These set-ups are more conducive to interacting.

Could be a city + venue choice issue as well.

Going to say marquee in Vegas, all you have to do is stand at the walkway outside and open every girl going up and down the stairs, go to the patio by the water sit down + chit chat + close.

If you're talking about the full on table service 0 seating clubs, yeah those places blow.

I have to say, it it weren't for dance floor game I would not be going to clubs.

Ever since I adapted and internalized this part of the game, my enjoyment and success factor have gone up ten fold.

To have success at the club, you must understand the environment. You must know that if you are pulling ONS or at least constant makeouts you are easily in the top 1% of guys.

I've heard that in the college scene, 20% of guys are fucking 80% of the girls.

In the club it's more like 1% of guys are actually fucking girls they met that night.

This is dance floor game. This is what only 5% (if not less) of guys do at the club. Dance floor game is king, and in some clubs it's actually the only way to go.

I do enjoy clubs, but if you don't, hotel bars in Miami, NYC, LV are even better to a large extent. You don't really think those girls want to drink by themself all night in a strange city, do you?

I personally miss the old days of clubbing 1999-2003. I remember going out and listening to traveling djs from europe( Van Buren, Tiesto, Oakenfold, Chris Liberator,Paul van Dyk, Sasha and Digweed. Rolling out with some E and my crew were some of the best times anybody can have. Rolling out with your girl at the time getting into that beat and getting lost in the music together was just the most euphoric ever. Clubs svrew themselves with all the bottle service etc., but its all about the money. And also going out to see a real top flight dj makes all the difference in the world. and I am not talking like that dj AM crap in vegas, I am talking about a first rate dj from europe who develop their own sets. Makes all the difference, but I can see how it may suck now. I guess I am lucky I got to experience the glory days of the club scene. Also by "E", I mean energy. I would never admit to or condone the taking of an illegal substance.

A lot of the huge Clubs out in Tokyo are still like this, no bottle service, no excessive waiting in lines that don't move. no dress code Basically the bouncers are just there to check your ID and make sure you don't have weapons.

Even though the club scene out there isn't that great, when a major DJ comes by to one of the big venues, it's amazing. I was there working on an event that Above&Beyond headlined out there. . .it was amazing.

I used to go out to the clubs a lot (the top 40 go find a girl to game clubs) and did all kinds of game, dancefloor game included. . .and really, after a while it just becomes way too much work to go chase women at clubs every weekend. Ive honestly have had more SNLs from day.night game. online game, and day game than club game. If you're not going to see a large DJ and witness the great production values, or are not apart of the club scene in any way (promoter, Organizer, DJ, etc etc) then its really not worth it.

If you (the OP) want to get ahead in club game, become a promoter, and get in really well with the organizers of the party. Dress sharp and try your best to help out when you can. . .

not to impress the organizer, but to show to the other patrons that you are "important" I stumbled upon this myself by accident. . .got me laid so many times, when I wasn't even trying. I'd just be in the VIP room, helping out with something (anywhere from trying to help out guests with stuff, to guiding the dancers to and from the room to their dance spots at certain times, to "security") I was doing it to help out and just learn about what was going on and stumbled on a gold mine about clubbing: Being a patron to get girls is for chumps. If you work "behind the scenes" but are still visible, you can find a local pussy paradise without having to "Game" women other than using "don't fuck up" game.

If any guys here are clubbing a lot, this should be an easy transition.

Just caught Digweed the other day. Typically the club is ultra douchey, but it's funny when a good act comes around, how the crowd changes. Only problem is, all the tight bodies don't appreciate good music. Comes down to selling your soul/listening to Avicii vs good music with worse ratios.

Definitely don't like Clubs/Clubbing or even bars really.

Would rather be with a group of friends at a party or a concert. Would rather pick up girls at an event like this, rather than a place pumping music I don't like so that I can't hear anyone.

If we're going out dancing, that's one thing. Or to a show I like. Or a bar that I know plays good music. But if the music is shit, as it is at most clubs, I don't see why the hell I need to be wasting my time somewhere I don't enjoy.

I do like drinking though.

I really tried to force myself to like clubs but its just not my scene. Music sucks. Girls are usually average with 3 inches of a makeup. Dudes are usually frustrated posers looking for a fight. I found my shangri-la local for gaming the type of girls I like. The Library. Imo, I think a lot of guys waste a lot of time in clubs. Hooking up within your social circle is so much easier because your already vetted...

Tried enjoying clubs on and off for several years. I've reconciled and accepted the following facts:

-I hate contemporary music. I find the music so repulsive it actually makes me angry.

-I do not like dancing.

-I have plenty of hearing loss from the military, the bass is so loud I legitimately have trouble hearing for a day or two after a club venture.

-I hate the wear guys are dressed. Affliction t shirt + 300 dollar jeans + pointy elf dress shoes = gay

-The lighting is ultra deceptive. It's hard to tell whether or not a girl is actually bangable. I hate being sold illusions.


Low key, slightly seedy dive bars are my go-to night life venue for swooping. The music is at a tolerable level. The juke box has serviceable music. Girls are usually receptive to being opened up. Drinks are cheaper, and if you just give the bartender a 20 dollar right off the bat you'll get awesome service and a single digit bill at the end of the night - despite them pouring heavy and hooking up your target too.

I prefer dive bars to clubs and historically have more success in those settings, but I've had to develop decent club game because most countries other than the US simply don't have a bar scene that's conducive to picking up (bars are full of tables and people go there to sit and drink with friends, not hook up). I've definitely had my share of nights where the last place I wanted to be was a loud cheesy club full of idiots, but if you have the right mindset and you're in an environment where you know you're the fucking man and you have a good chance of walking out of there arm-in-arm with some slut it can be a lot of fun.

Also, even though I'm perfectly comfortable flying solo, I have to admit that having a buddy or 2 with me can definitely help in a club environment by keeping my energy level up. If you're feeling negative about the vibe in a club, it's probably because you don't have enough energy for the venue, whereas you can get away with a more chill, easygoing vibe in a bar setting.

Club game is a lot of fun. Abundance of girls and people to talk to and to get better at dealing with all kinds of situations.

Last weekend I was out solo and approached a mixed 4-set and sure enough some dude friend of theirs comes in and tries to interrupt the conversation I'm having with one of the girls. He's trying hard to get my attention and when he finally has it he's saying something like who are you and why are you here but anyway the way I dealt with that shit with utter calmness just made the girls' eyes light up.

Finding a suitable 'niche' is many times forgotten in game circles. It is valid for clubs too.

I recommend to all my buddies new to game to hit every possible club in the city (more than once), and then focus on the ones where they felt great and got the best response from girls. It's a whole different thing if you hit a club that plays the music you love, you're able to have fun completely sober and know there will be positive feedback from at least a few girls. If you hit the most mainstream venues (just as an example, many guys like them) only because there are hot / slutty looking girls and therefore need x number of drinks to stay entertained, or the music sucks big time and you just don't click with the girls there, the game for that night is practically already lost. I find it interesting how many dudes are socially unaware in this way, not knowing where they belong with their personalities, image and lifestyle.

I use these earplugs. They are less than $10 and filter out the noises that cause physical pain while allowing you to hear a conversation. For me, they are a necessity for living in Mexico. They also work great with loud music.

Could you explain that part in more detail please? When you say "flash", do you mean pay for the first drink with a $100? How many drinks, visits, tabs does it take to get well known. I realize the last question is pointless, if you are a regular at a single place. But what if you visit 3-4 different venues every couple of weeks?

I agree with "closing the tab" image, but I love the convenience of plastic. Is there a way to make it work? Maybe give a $20 tip up front and pay with a credit card later?

I actually like clubs a lot more than bars; unlike bars, you can at least ask a girl to dance without the need to break the ice. It seems like at bars, the tension is so deep that you could cut it with a knife. I'm a laconic guy, who kinda sucks at small talk situations: I hate discussing stupid things like weather, school, and the weekend. I don't know, I guess I feel like a fish out of water.

Numanist how's you closing from pure dance game? I'm a man of few words myself. And for that reason I prefer lounges/bars. The way to make you stand out in bars is to cut through all that small talk and to a topic or line of conversation that moves her. When over that hump, and it mainly be comes about talking about your own exciting life.

My dance floor game isn't as good as I am happy to admit.

Loud music and dark atmosphere make it a meat market scene. If I got buffer, all I would need to do is go around and do simple opens. Bitch shields are too high for someone like me.

Bars, lounges, house parties, and kick backs I do the best in. I really appreciate a good lounge where I can hear the opposite party. Definitely an issue with my own club game.

I like rolling in large parties to clubs. Until I make 150k+ I will not be caught dead getting 100$+ bottle service. Shame I don't care for vodka, I'd rather be drinking wine.

I'm seeing a lot of posts on "Dance floor game", any specific posts to look at?
