I only recently started playing around with Badoo. I like that they have a photo-rating system where you allow your photos to be rated by random girls and also see the girls who rated you. I think OK Cupid has something like that too but I've never messed with OKC.

I've just been rotating my profile around to various countries to see if there's differences in my photo ratings and what the quality of women are that are giving me good ratings. I lied about my age on the profile and put 32 and I could probably pass for late 20s if I wanted. I'm not using the profile to meet anyone right now, just to see how I'm rated in different parts of the world. It can be eye-opening how much your average score can vary from country to country. It gives you some insight into where your look/race/vibe may be best received. Surprisingly, my photos did terribly in the Dominican Republican. Even good photos that got tons of likes from girls on Facebook were getting bombed by girls in the DR. Not sure why. My photos got rated fairly decent in Mexico though. I find that I get rated quite well by women over 35, but so-so by women in the 20 range.

I don't know if Badoo is the best site for doing this. Maybe there are others. But I think having your photos rated by random women in various countries could help in deciding your next destination. It's important though that whatever you use, you can actually see the women who are rating you so you have an idea what quality of girl is giving you a good rating, and Badoo let's you see that even without a paid membership.

I'm not getting any useful feedback from Badoo photo ratings.

I set my location to a SE Asian country because I'll be headed there in the new year. But the only ratings I get are from women in the Americas. And only women in their 40's, whereas my search is set to 20-50. I don't understand why I'm not getting ratings from my set location - there are thousands of members listed there. I'm in Europe and I've never set my location anywhere in North or South America.

In order to get your photos rated, you have to rate others' photos - 50 for each photo you want rated. I've rated at least 500 people, but only had about 20 ratings myself.

On the old Hot or Not (which was taken over by Badoo) I used to consistently get 8-10 out of 10 with casual snapshots. Now I'm getting a few high scores but mostly 5's and 6's or less. These are high quality, professionally taken and edited photos. Either I've become a repulsive old fuck in the last few years, or those fugly, South American, 40-something broads are vindictive bitches, lol!

I also did the Your Best Face thing on OKC, but the results they returned, whilst looking very scientific, were based on only 37 people's preferences for either my photo or another person's. No way is that statistically valid.

Is there a better site to use? I notice Hot or Not has been resurrected as a smartphone app, but it's Facewhore login only and I don't have a profile there.
