RE: NFL player charged with murder
Funny how so many guys on this thread are calling Hernandez worthless and a jackass. He's 23, is making more money than most people will in their entire life, is in better shape than 99% of people, would probably would retire by the time he's 35, and is having sex with hot girls left and right. Sounds like he has accomplished more than most people will in their entire lives - and he is 23.

That's something very curious to me. A good looking pro-bowl athlete who is wifing up that.

And it appears she's from Boston, so it's not like it's an old high school sweetheart or something.

He grew up in a house bigger than the one I grew up in. Mom was an admin for the board of Ed or something. Father worked with some people I know and was a really good guy (so I've heard, I didn't know him personally) until he passed away. I think that when he lost his dad, his world started to spiral. Bristol is a giant suburb with a little tiny bit of "hood" in it. It's not like he was out on a corner selling crack or shooting people left and right out there. That's the "persona" he created for himself. Jackass.
I could of told you that just from his tattoos, earrings, clothes, fade and the story of him specifically beating people up smaller people in clubs. I doubt he's ever been in trouble or had to deal with any consequences his entire life. He was probably always bailed out in some way. He'll be quiet in prison and wont try to do anything to anyone. It's easy to play thug until you're actually around them and all alone with no gun.

All that kind of seems kind of irrelevant in making him an example if he's a cold-blooded murderer. I still am curious about the 'roids thing, could that have been a contributing factor to being so angry stupid?

I did a lot of dumb shit at 23, but murder wasn't one of them.

You want to know the only thing you can assume about a broken down old man? It's that he's a survivor.

Is this a serious post?

He's 23 and was making more money than most while reaching the pinnacles of athletic achievement. He had everything a 23 year old could want and more, including the chance to be sitting pretty in retirement by 35 (or earlier).

He then decided to select a life of crime and become a murderer, ending lives for reasons as petty as an altercation in a nightclub. He had no financial need to enter this life of crime either, as aside from being a multimillionaire he did not (as Weebs noted earlier in this thread) grow up in particularly deprived circumstances. He chose to gangbang just for the sake of gangbanging.

That is the definition of a worthless jackass. He's a man who had everything (more than most EVER get in a lifetime) and threw it all away for nothing. He had everything to lose and nothing to gain by entering a life of crime, and decided to do it anyway at the expense of several lives and the future of his own offspring.

You have to be ill in the mind to actually defend someone like this, much less imply that they are to be held up as examples as you do here. Millions of dollars and an NFL pedigree do not excuse one from the responsibility of being a decent human being, nor should they shield those individuals from the rightful critiques they receive upon their failure to do so.

I do not care about how much money he made, nor do I care how about the many sluts he smashed or the NFL contracts he has signed. This is a tragically flawed human being and no amount of money can shield that. Quit worshiping the superficial symbols of status around him and call it like it is.

I think you need to re-examine what it means to be successful and what it means to have a life. All that stuff sounds great, but it's highly likely this guy will never have a free day of his life again, so what does really all that you referenced matter?

Also, in regards to what Athlone said, this guy has been connected to shooting incidents as far back as 2007, it appears he was a sociopathic killer before he was a NFL star, so he didn't choose this life after becoming famous, this was him before anybody really gave a fuck, but when you're athlete, people are willing to look past practically any transgressions because they pedestalize the fact that you can do something that they can't and have always dreamed they could.

Lastly, this level of male attention whoring needs to stop...

Took all the words right out of my mouth, only better. And on top of that, with all the money, power, and idiots willing to back him that he has, there's no reason he couldn't have done this and not get caught were he more careful about it - or at least made it a little less obvious. Not that I condone this type of behavior, but that makes him even more of a jackass.

Secret troller? Member since 2009, waiting this long to get banned? Well done!

AH fucked up his life, smashing cell phones isn't normal activity. Didn't the guy ever watch those stupid crime shows? He is gonna retire in prison and I bet people will fuck with him and remind him daily how he blew it. AH chose to be stupid.

Athlone made very solid points.

On a side note - I only thought Athlone posted up videos and pics of hot chicks and cute little animals. Smile

And one last thing, I hope you meant innocent until proven guilty and not you think he is innocent period/no doubt. If it is the latter then maybe you need to ask yourself why you would believe this in light of the evidence that has been collected. And putting aside the murder charges (and I am not trying to minimize this charge), there are still several gun charges which seem fairly straight forward.

if you like him so much, commit a crime and join him. Let me guess a Pats fan?

First, everyone should read the linked article. It's great. Whitlock is semi red pill.

Here's the guy who wrote it:

Second, I disagree that Whitlock is trying to rationalize Hernandez. His article is a devastating critique of the drug war's effect on pop and American culture.

Some of my questions for Aaron’s mother Terri would relate to whether Aaron’s dad really was such a positive influence on her son.
Terri’s next choice for a husband was Jeffrey Cummings, who reportedly was later imprisoned for slashing her with a knife. She divorced him while he was in prison.

Safe to assume her first husband (Aaron's father) was a bad influence. And the mom is certainly fucked up. The apple never falls from the tree.

Instead of painting Hernandez's mom as an angel who is now a victim, the school district needs to fire her ass and keep her away from kids. She's already bred one fucked up monster, yet she still has a job at a school???

Funny the talk about him picking fights with smaller dudes at clubs. Hernandez is 6'1 245lbs and apparently tried to pick a fight with Wes Welker, who stands 5'9 and 185lbs. Probably the smallest dude on the team.

Do, you really believe he'll get raped? He has world class training and strength as a professional athlete. He's not super tall but he has some decent size. I don't think he'll have too much of a problem in jail. Sure, he'll be challenged and may lose a few fights, but raped? C'mon Man!

I think 99% of us do not know what it is like inside a prison for hardcore criminals. Also, I am not sure sure if there is a death penalty or not in Mass so it might not matter if he is executed.

You got to think that he might be able to pay for some protection (he is gonna get sued pretty good by the victims), but there are a lot of guys that will try to get some prison cred by fucking with AH. I think he will have a rough time, unless he gets put into some place outside of general population for his safety. And if he comes in with some attitude he will experience so much worse than rookie hazing. He murdered a guy who was not a gang banger (not sure about the other alleged 2 murders), it was 3 on 1.

A lot of the criminals he will face are not wanna be criminals, they will be hardcore. I don't think AH is hardcore. Picking on lesser sized people is not hardcore, that is bullying. Bullies tend to cry the most once they are on the receiving end. He will live longer than his resources, so when those run out people might care as much about him.

I don't understand. What's the average height and weight of a person in jail? You're saying there's a cabal of 13 men just licking their chops waiting to rape him? I can see him getting knocked unconscious and then maybe he'll be penetrated but i cannot see any forcible rape occurring. Call me naive, but I just cant see a big mofo like him letting something like that go down unless he is already gay.

This is from the wikipedia article on prison rape:
Quote:"In 2011-12, an estimated 4.0% of state and federal prison inmates and 3.2% of jail inmates reported experiencing one or more incidents of sexual victimization by another inmate or facility staff in the past 12 months or since admission to the facility, if less than 12 months."

Even if those numbers are under-reported and the prevalence of rape is 10%, 20%, or even 40%. You still think this big in shape man is in that number? This man was paid millions to put defensive ends, 6'5 265, on their asses for a living. I'm not buying that "he's getting raped" because that's what happened in jail.
