I read the article , then a few hours later the shit below happened


A little background, I work part time as a bouncer

The manager radioed me and said someone downstairs needed to be kicked out, I asked who, and his words were " you'll know her when you see her, its a tranny in a dress"

So I head downstairs...and theres a fat chick stumbling around accosting people, so I assume this is the tranny..a barman shakes his head and points behind me..I turn around and theres a american guy with red hair in a green dress, twirling around , flashing his junk at customers.

So, I go up to him/her and say they need to leave (laws in england are crap, you cant put hands on them unless they kick off, and even then I cant use a closed hand, they can only be held/restrained, or I lose my license to be a bouncer)

The tranny comes quietly at first,(with the fat girl who happened to be her friend). ..on the way upstairs the tranny is saying "im a lawyer, you need to tell me why youre ejecting me, otherwise its against the law" (I dont, and it isnt), I say nothing

We get upstairs and the tranny makes a beeline for the manager instead of the exit, and starts to scream " TELL ME IN FRONT OF EVERRRRYBODYY WHY YOURE KICKING ME OUT" , etc etc. Now its my turn for the wrath of the tranny, he/she turned to me and went , "ARE YOU EVEN FROM HERE, YOU IMMIGRANT? DO YOU EVEN SPEAK ENGLISH??!?!?"

I say nothing, just smirk and shepherd the two outside..we get outside and the manager comes outside unecessarily, the tranny shouts at me and calls me the n word (Im a black guy) and the manager jumps in, and the tranny and the fat friend start throwing punches, Im pushing them away in the chest (Thanks shit UK laws), the tranny gets too close so I eventually have to place light pressure round the trannys neck

Now there was a woman watching the whole thing unfold outside..its only when I have to put my hand on the trannys neck that she flashes her warrant card, and reveals herself as an off-duty policewoman...long story short fuck-all happened to the tranny and her friend, The policewoman attempted to give me a talking to but I wasnt interested, went back inside

No moral to this cool story..annoying that the policewoman did nothing until I use my hands, whilst the other two for throwing punches

This all happened,the only proof ive got is my UK bouncer license card, I dont think this story is that out there though, had a lot of stranger stuff happen

I believe it man. I commend you for doing everything in your power to contain the situation and keeping a professional temper about you. There are just some people in this world bent on causing hell for others.

Sounds like you were the victim of a "violent racist attack" made worse by "anti-immigrant hate speech"... if she pulled out her warrant card you should really have got her badge number, gone down the local cop shop and filled out a written statement demanding an apology, gone to the papers demanding to know why the police are still institutionally racist etc.

You could probably even do it now, get the CCTV from outside the club to ID the officer, a few freeze frames of you being composed in the face of extreme provocation etc. Why didn't you report it earlier - you were in shock, didn't expect an officer of the law to ignore hate speech...


Of course that assumes that the local council won't use it against your employer at licence renewal time.

Where do you work because round my way calling a bouncer a n***** or p**** will get you a beating . One guy got killed here a few years ago after it took the entire door team to take on one guy and the CCTV went missing so no charges.

Wow, even in NYC & LA bouncers will beat the shit out of people, throw them down a stairwell, etc.
