do you like girls who like sports? its as if they are trying so hard to get attention from guys that they have to act like they know something about sports, or be annoying super fans. then they talk about it with some kind of weird authority as if I will like them more because they are passionate when they say "lebron sucks". dont get me wrong, I love sports, just not women who act like they do.

I barely even like guys who like sports... Women who go out of their way to make it known that they like sports are quite insufferable.

Most women I've seen claim to like sports give off that characteristic trying-to-be-one-of-the-guys vibe, rather than possessing a genuine passions for team sports.

My main thing about women has been with bicyclists. They're mostly upper-middle class, it's not at all like a team sports thing for the most part, they like nature, are willing to exert themselves to (1) Stay in shape (2) get some extraordinary experience.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned sex itself is a very athletic activity. Women who are into Yoga are into sex; there is so much similarily, liking extreme physical sensation, being able to tolerate a little pain to get a better high.

I can't think of any other activity that is openly discussed that is more like sex than athletics.

I can see if you're into barflies, girls smoking/drinking themselves into early prune hood and are really slutty, that they might be easier than athletic good girls. But I don't like barflies.

nah this is about girls who talk about pro sports and pretend to be pro sports fans, and get all stupidly annoying when trying to be super fans to guys. has nothing to actual athletic/physical women, I often find the two are diametrically opposed. The wannabe fan usually hangs in sports bars and music festivals, the athletic chic is usually doing anything but that. Athletic chics are hot and usually really into sex.

Nope. They're intentionally encroaching on the manosphere... and in essence manly due to it. gross. Now some who have an affinity for their hometown Pro teams, and go to some games, etc.., as in grew up with a BF or family following certain teams I can live with. But if she can talk raw stats till 3am.. No way. Its a form of an identity crisis IMO that hinges on man's existence.

If they're athletic i.e., not boy-girls but genuinely physically active and use sports as that outlet, that's kinda hot and a good thing.

I know women who like watching an important hockey game, but not much beyond that (team sports).

I always trip when I head to the US, just a 30min drive away and see guys and their women in matching team jerseys eating nachos and drinking beer in sports bars pouring over their fantasy picks.

When it comes to girls that like sports, every girl I know likes sports. Skiing, sailing, fitness, beach volleyball, tennis whatever. I dont know a single woman who is not into something active. Whether it defines as sport or not.......

I occasionally girls who enjoy sports. They tend to have went to a college with some kind of storied sports program (i.e. Duke or Michigan). It's not a problem to me. Since I'm a big guy I find that they like the aesthetic and that getting physical soon is very likely. I agree that many of them have some kind of personality flaw (lack of femininity) but I'm not looking to move in with them so I don't care. In terms of bangs, makes no difference to me.

Depends. I've met many Latin American girls that are wild about soccer and it never seems so bad when they do it:



On the other hand, women who are nuts about American football annoy me. It seems like too much of a mans sport. Same with women who are crazy about UFC.

As for basketball, I can tolerate girls who love going to games and watching as a fun social event, if she starts talking about stats and all kinds of shit, my eyes will glaze over. Go to Staples Center and you'll see hotties like this everywhere:

Whenever I hear a girl saying that she couldn't consider being with a guy that's not into X sport/team I mentally pat her on the head, throw a hail Mary and ask if she wants to get out of there and if not, good bye.

I'm somewhat surprised at the disdain for women who like sports in this thread. Maybe it's because I love sports but it's a plus in my book, plus it sure beats a girl who hates sports and complains when you want to watch it on TV. Of course I still do/did anyway and ignore the bitching/shit test, but it's preferable for a chick to actually share that as a common interest, at least from my POV.

But I do agree on the athletic chicks who like to play sports -- usually a strong correlation with that and a great sex drive. Usually.

The girls in the Sports Bar during a game are always the most annoying, its so fake and they only do it to get macho dudes to notice them. This Asian girl I used to mess with was more obsessed with sports then me and I am a life long (passive) fan. I told her strait up it means shit all if you memorize every little stat since at the end of the day it means nothing - She got mad as fuck and turned red when I popped her bubble.
