The reason being that alpha males are usually identified as such and women know better than to expect commitment from them. If you're truly alpha then girls will desire you so much they will be afraid to ask for marriage, in fear of either turning you off or knowing that you'll never be a good partner to them.

It's not too different from what the Pilgrims of England did when the Church began persecuting them for their religious beliefs. The Pilgrims felt like they were losing their cultural identity so in response they got up and left. Now 250 years later America is the superpower of the world. Maybe when the persecution of masculinity gets even worse than what we have today this idea might not seem so ridiculous. Only time will tell.

I haven't seen any decline in demand for husbands overall, most girls I went to school with will admit they want to get married. It's just that they don't want an average joe, they want the best. Some of them will get it and the rest will eventually settle for less, and live the rest of their lives bitching at a husband they can't respect.

Where do you guys normally look for girls? The majority of the ones I know from work and church seem to be highly interested in a committed long term relationship. The girls I meet at bars are definitely fit the bill in this post. Day time game girls are all over the place. Honestly my bar game sucks so it's not really worth my effort to try and score.

You meet all the objective criteria for what middle to upper-middle class girl looks for in a husband to show her friends how awesome she is: Look at me, I can snag a guy that checks all these boxes! 6 feet , white (assuming you're white and these are white girls), making good money at a young age, decent college degree (another assumption) social skills. I'm leaning with Samseau's theory that you probably do not intimidate them (e.g. they figure they have a shot at your commitment). So you have a lot of customers - you're a trophy husband.
