Sobe is probably even more expensive than vegas. Xs was the #1 grossing club in the country last year. And being from vegas I agree with mcqueen, you're getting ripped off.

That's pretty a pretty standard price for guys rolling in. It IS a ripoff of course but they charge that simply because they can. Remember, this is one of the places that charges girls some nights. Side note, I've been banging one of the bartenders for years.

On the contrary, Vegas can be a hell of a bargain too. Me and my roommate (who also lived in Vegas) were talking about it the other day. Housing prices are pretty similar in terms of square footage here in Denver as it is in Vegas, but the thing is in Vegas you are getting much better quality. Not to mention how cheap hotel rooms are. You can get a suite in Vegas for the same price youd pay for basically a box in south beach.

Yep, I remember my boy was living in Whitney ranch, right by the galleria at sunset. He had a 5 bedroom with a hot tub, pool, and a gardener. He paid $1500 a month. That's $300 per room and the house was pimp. You would think for that price it would be run down and shitty, but nope, I'm sure the earliest that house was built was 1990 but probably around the same time as the galleria if I had to guess, which had to have been post '95. A good amount of houses in Vegas are new, as in built in the last 20 years. Vegas grew an insane amount since moved there in '93. They were just finishing up treasure island when I moved there. Henderson was the fastest growing city in the nation for a while there. Houses are super cheap, especially for what you're getting. Denver isn't near as cool of a city and I feel like I should be paying half what I am for rent when compared to Vegas standards.

Was recently in Vegas. Had a blast but I if I went through the torture of calculating how much $$ I spent, maybe I would reconsider going there again. I can afford it but still...

While going to 2nd tier places might make sense if you live there, I think most people who go out of the way to travel there went to hit up the most hyped places..

bottom line certainly not a place for someone on a budget

I actually hit up Vegas for a couple days in March during the week and it was more pleasant then a crowded weekend and not too expensive. I hit up Xs on Monday which was unreal, and I think I paid $25 or $30 to get in.

Just remember, Tier 2 clubs are going to have Tier 4 girls in them.

ALL the good looking girls in Vegas for a weekend generally do one night in XS, and the other night in one of the newer clubs (Hallasan, Marquee, etc)

If you go to Lavo or Pure or some shit on a Saturday, expect either fat California chicks or an ethnic night (Asian night, latino night).

And an ethnic night in Vegas is a place you don't want to be caught dead in. The good looking (asian, mexican, whatever) ones will be in the top tier clubs, so you're getting a combination of the nerds and fatasses.

I've gone like 10 times. Fridays and Saturdays only. They do have a lot of hot girls but there are tons of Asian mega groups there...I hear it got so bad the door guys had to kind of regulate and send groups to tryst or surrender in order to not dilute XS into an Asian club. Just the nature of the beast. They do have hotter girls that usually do gravitate to the indoor dance floor tables.
