I got the Kindle version of Men on Strike and plan on reading/reviewing it soon enough, but the attention that Helen Smith's been getting for it is a prime example of the obnoxious pussy worship in the manosphere.

I have nothing against Smith---in fact, I used to be a regular reader of her blog---but countless men have been banging the drum on this for years. There have been god knows how many bloggers in the MRM, the manosphere, the MGTOW movement etc. that have written about everything in Men on Strike again and again and again, reworking the ideas, exploring them from every angle, doing statistical analysis and more for no other reason than because they want the truth to be known. And most of them did it in relative obscurity.

In steps Smith to piggyback off of these men's work, and guys drop to their knees in rapture. "OMG I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!" "FINALLY A WOMAN WHO GETS IT!" Half of these fanboys don't know who Angry Harry or zed or Ragnar or Rob Fedders or F. Roger Devlin are, but they stumble like starstruck groupies to lick the clit of any woman who parrots Men's Rights 101.

The exact same pattern plays out in the manosphere again and again: subpar women bloggers get far more attention than they deserve because of all these supposedly "red pill" dudes who behave exactly like thirsty beta orbiters on a hot chick's Facebook page. Sunshine Mary posts nothing but reheated Dalrockisms and titillates her readers with stories of how she loves it when her alpha husband makes her get on her knees and suck his cock and gets 15,000 plus visitors a month. Compare to Red Pill Theory, a blog that features detailed deconstructions of feminist literature and ideas: 3,500 unique visitors a month.

It's gotten to the point where I refuse to read "red pill woman" bloggers, save for a couple who are actually interesting and well-written. I'm tired of seeing smart, hard-working guys get left in the dust while these "happily married housewives" get lavished with praise for being unoriginal cockteases. And after four years of screwed up manosphere groupie behavior, culminating in watching one of my fans divorce her husband so she could shack up with a manosphere blogger, I'm confident that any woman who is drawn to this part of the Internet of her own volition isn't playing with a full deck.

Again, nothing against Smith; she's probably one of the few "pro-male" women who has her head screwed on straight. But I'm not going to praise her just because she's anti-feminist.

I mostly agree with you, Matt, but I do think Sunshine Mary is a better blogger than you think. She, along with Redpillwifey, are the only female-run manosphere blogs I read regularly.

Although, I do agree with your sentiment about the fanboys of Smith. Her blog is alright, but she really isn't a trailblazer of any stripe. She is very derivative - but you are right guys follow her blog just because she is a female with pro-male sentiments. I remember Sophia's blog - she got all that traffic because she was a woman. It wasn't any surprise she eventually posted pictures of herself and got tons of dudes complimenting her looks. She shut the blog down shortly thereafter.

It is sad that better manosphere blogs don't get more play, but also consider Smith's husband is Glenn Reynolds, so she probably gets a good bit of traffic from that connection.

In the end, most guys are simps. No matter much we bang on utilizing game, most guys just will stay being clit-licking simps heaping mindless amounts of approval onto women.

While this may all be true you can't blame the women. You have to blame human nature and our incessant need for novelty. If a Black person writes about racism no one cares because it's expected. If a white woman writes about it, it would also get a lot more attention because she is more likely to be objective and because she is NOT part of the group she is writing about. Same as if you wrote a review of yourself on here, it wouldn't have any validity. Men writing about men, simply cannot have the same validity as women writing about men because it would be expected of them.

Personally, I don't care how the message gets out there as long as it does.

Sunshinemary does have some good stuff quite regularily, especially if one is a religious christian. I'm not sure she ever titallated her readers with her sex life. (At least from what I've read). Her stuff IS well written. Thing is women do have a valid red pill opinion to offer. It only proves the misogyny claim of the manosphere to bash women's red pill blogs for not being serious enough; they just have a different perspective.

I do recommend judgybitch.com, another antifeminist who's articles are sometimes super funny. I'm not sure if she considers herself "red pill", but an interesting perspective.

I've been wanting to gread the book the OP mentioned, maybe now is the time.

By thinking that a woman's Red Pill views mean more than a man's, you are affirming a feminist left wing idea. That is the idea that objectivity is impossible. Red Pill either fits in better with the evidence or it doesn't. Period. Full Stop. What men or women or anyone thinks of red Pill is irrelevant. It's either true or not.

Do not fall into the trap of thinking that if someone who has something to lose by believing in something that that something is more likely to be true if that someone believes it.

You are buying a fundamental feminist tenet.

Agreed, these women are as insincere and self-serving as any white knight.

The thing that sets this book apart, is that as well as calling out many of the most obnoxious anti-male fem-cunts, the author makes a point of accrediting much of the book’s insight to Manospere heavy weights such as Roissy and Vox Day.

While it’s true that 99.999% of books on this subject by women (and men for that matter) are steaming piles of crap, I think this one is worth a second look.

I am guessing this is just guys who never had a good relationship with their mums?

I have always gotten on well with my mum - and I just can't imagine wanting some kind of subsitute mother in a partner.

One is bad enough.

But then again - I am a card carrying MGTOW. I think if your partner is not at least a '9' - you should ditch her and spend your cash on hookers and booze. Walking through the streets and seeing couples is always confusing for me. In about 95% of the cases I would feel suicidal waking up next to that each day.
