That's a great statement; I only disagree with him in that I think that's true whether someone has fought for the right or not. His right doesn't trump my right just because he served in Iraq and I didn't.

Self defense is a Natural Right, and he's absolutely correct. These legislators should be front and center for every gun warrant in support of this law. And any time a politicians speaks of a foreign war his wife and kids should be on the first transport. When you have skin in the game you tend to play quite differently.
