I'll echo what has been said here.
1.Check out the small town/village fests, they are a blast.

2.Be prepared to talk politics or other issues that would be considered impolite in the states. In my experience Kamaki is 100% right; fluff talk is just that to germans. Also when it comes up, because it will, say you voted for Obama. Although currently the incumbent party is a conservative Christian one it's quite far left of the American republican party. Revealing republican leanings will cost you serious points.

3. In general the more worldly you are the more points you get. I imagine it wouldn't be a problem with most people on this board but knowing some geography and world history really bumped my value while I was there. Brake the stereotype for Americans.

I was in Freiburg, which is in the southwest of the country. It is a university town that has students from all over europe. Well worth checking out for you guys looking for something different from the big cities. It is also the warmest city in Germany which is a nice plus.

Since my ROK article was mentioned a few times on this thread, I have to reiterate - it's possible to have a great time in Germany, there are nice places and great people, but you're selling yourself short if you think it's one of the "premiere" places in Europe to visit.

I have the impression that those with positive reviews of Germany here found success by digging very hard to find a local hookup scene, decent girls, etc. Many things here appear to be outliers and rarities (e.g. Slavic girls, places to find Turkish girls). Like I said, of course those things can be found in Germany, but it's 10x easier in other countries.

I just don't understand the logic of spending 7 days hunting for something you can find in 2 days by traveling to Poland or anywhere else.

I'm quite happy to announce I'll be leaving Germany in the near future. Despite many of the positive experiences I had here, I feel like I wasted a large portion of my 20's freezing my ass off chasing bland and boring 6's and 7's.

Germany is excellent country for making serious cash and live comfortable life.Everything here is designed to facilitate work.It also has great strategic position in close distance to slavic countries.Slavic girls like Germany and being from Germany is DHV in CR, Poland.Many slavic girls come to work in Germany temporarily or permanently.

Blick Mang I think a lot of people on this thread are praising Germany more for the total package than the hook up scene. The quality of life in the country is high enough that many people are willing to over look potential girl shortcomings. Personally in Freiburg many of the girls I saw where quite cute, and at the very least fit/skinny. I think Kamaki has it right here. Live in Germany, enjoy the high wages, and infrastructure along with the other delights of first world living. And use those 5-6 weeks of vacation time (seriously I cannot believe how much time they get) going to wherever your heart desires.

Yeah sometimes I wonder if we are even talking about the same Germany here. High wages, quality of life? Wtf wages have stayed the same for at least a decade, meanwhile cost of living is going up every year and taxes are sky high. People are being worked like slaves here and often time have to do the work that used to be done by 2-3 people in the past.

About the famous German infrastructure - the local train controlling station here is so understaffed that the fact of 5 people calling in sick lead to a total breakdown in operation and now trains run only at one third of their capacity.

People here are miserable and rude as hell, the weather is shit for 6 months a year, girls are ugly and boring, the men are actually better looking than women ... I cant wait to get out of this hellhole and laugh at the idea that people would come here for girls or quality of life. Im counting down the days till I can finally leave again.

That's really most of Europe to be honest. However Germany has a boatload of high paying jobs. You are going to get hit with absurd taxes in most European countries regardless. Might as well make more to begin with. If you are simply trying to grow your net worth as much as possible than America is a much better bet in terms of # of high paying jobs/ level of taxes. Also take into account the CPI of the different job markets. Making 100k in Switzerland is very different than making 100k in North Dakota.

Seems like theres a real mixture of views on Germany so it looks like the juries still out.
Even with the negative posts on here id still really like to go to Germany even if it is for a couple of weeks as ive had good reviews of it when family went there. One minor problem for me anyway is ive heard that on average the people are really tall so making me look like a midget even though im a respectable 5 ft 10

Berlin was fantastic to me, when I lived there these last four months.
That being said, Prague, Poznan, Dresden, Koln, and Hamburg were all far better in terms of quantity of quality. But there's something to be said in Berlin for venturing out of the sausagefest to talk to girls, they seem to not get approached a lot. Also me and some of my mates from UK/Ireland engaged in some VICIOUS and downright disrespectful trolling of Germans and they actually responded in a much more forthright and friendly manner than if you acted like a fucking human being...

I'll add my two cents again.

Germany is a nice place to go for the culture, architecture, history etc.

However, I would not visit particularly for the women. Your Impression of German women will vary depending on where you're from and what your personal tastes are.

My Personal View Towards German Women (generalizing, of course):

- I find the bulk of German chics to be boring, plain and slightly masculine.
- Also, many can be a bit stiff and cold, but then again, that can depend on who/when/where.
- Most are not terribly good at flirting; I often get the impression I'm talking to a guy when I'm interacting to them, which is why a lot of them have made pretty good friends.
- In terms of looks: the average German girl is neither gorgeous nor hideous. They can be kind of bulky, especially if you compare them to women in E. Asia (where I am now). Again, in a word, I would describe them as kinda boring.
- As far as being expected to talk politics: this really depends entirely on what social circles you move in. Working class people generally don't give a rats ass about politics and are just as ignorant as anywhere else. Educated university students, on the other hand will be another story. As in most places, you can find different types depending on what social circle your in: there are "Jersey Shore" types (in German, they usually call them "Proleten" or "Assis"), there are hipsters, hip-hop fans, intellectuals, stoners, Reggae fan rasta-wannabes, etc. In terms of political views, it is true that you'll likely be looked at as a bit of a simpleton if you're a dedicated Fox News viewer.

Once again, this is just my personal opinion. You may have different impressions.

Some Other Things Worth Mentioning:

-As probably mentioned before, *social circle is king* in Germany, at least in the part I grew up in for half my life, and social circles tend to remain very insulated at clubs and bars, making cold approaching at night Kind of a drag. Berlin and Hamburg are probably different, but don't come to an average mid-sized university town expecting the same kind of hookup culture you may be accustomed to in your home country.

- On the plus side, German cities are very international, and you can find a lot of women of different cultural and ethnic backgrounds in most major cities...

ALso I dont find southern european women better looking than german ones, most southern european women are plain looking, heck in italy and greece its like 1 out 20 girls are decent, most women dont care about themselves. At least many german women can pull better the plain looks with their natural blond hair and blue/green eyes and taller statures, and appear more interesting than southern european women. Also SOuthern european women are a hard bone to crack I rather deal with intellectual german women than with spoiled "princess complexed" mediterranean women who are spoiled because of so many local guys boosting their ego during their lifetimes.

Germany might not be Poland, Czech, baltics or Ukraine in terms of quality, but For living in a developed nation I rather would do that in Germany hands down than living somewhere in the UK or North America, or even southern europe/france , for the reasons mentioned above.

In terms of female obesity, Germany is about to getting ever closer to the US.

I remember how my friends and family, who mostly have never been to the states, used to make fun of all the fat and fast-food-addicted Americans they saw on TV. Last weekend I was visiting my hometown in the rural surrounding areas of Berlin for a local festival. I was shocked how bad it has become compared to ten years ago. Fat women with ugly tattoos everywhere, especially in the 20-30 year range. Be on the guard against those German tanks invading your home country during holiday season!

German women are noticeable taller and have different body builds, in my opinion White american women are much more similar to the women of the British Isles and Ireland, who are curvier, shorter and fatter on average. Also german women have more genuine blondes when compared to anglo women, thats for granted.

This comment has nothing to do with what I said in my earlier post.

Where did I say anything about the Anglosphere? Where did I even mention American women? I haven't lived in the Anglosphere since I was 13, and have rarely intereacted with Anglophones since then. As such, they're completely irrelevant to me.

If I told you the weather in Germany isn't all that great, would the fact that British weather is even worse somehow turn Germany into the Bahamas?

I have been to Germany a few times, I dont think GErmans and americans look that much alike. German girls are definitely hotter than your average white americans, although nothing special next to eastern european women.

This can really depend on where in Germany you go. Munich, for example, has a lot more hot (but also stuck up) women than Nürnberg, for example. The girls in Berlin are also different and more varied than either.

Also, In my experience, the "hotness" of the average population is determined just as much by environment/nurture as it is by genes/nature, if not more so.

- What do the dietary habits of a given country's local population look like? For example, how high are the local obesity rates?

- How does their overall lifestyle affect their appearance? Are fitness and excersize highly prized in that society?

- What are the local atttitudes toward grooming, fashion and personal appearance? Do women generally put a lot of effort into looking attractive and cultivating their appearance when they go out? Is a sense of fashion widespread throughout the population, or do people simply regard clothes as rags to keep out the cold?

- Other things can play a role as well, even little things, such body language and the way women carry themselves.

All of these things play immense roles in how attractive the female population can appear to us. As I mentioned before, many of the Russians and Ukrainians in Germany for the most part are originally of German descent, but they still take care of themselves in a completely different manner than German-Germans, and again, the only thing "German" about them is usually their names. It's probably the same with Americans of German ancestry.

White Americans look to me like a mix of 30% Anglo, 40% German, 10% Celtic and 20% undefined ethnicity (Italian?).You seldom see American with hardcore Germanic characteristics.They mixed in combinations unknown in Europe.However when I look at American films from the 50's and before I often see clearly the ethnicity (typical German, Scandinavian, English etc).Probably the mix took mainly place after the 50's.

I've seen and met too many hot American girls to stop believing that German girls are somehow superior to American girls. I don't believe it for one minute.

Yes, if you prefer the white anglo-saxon look you probably must get out of Florida or Southern California, but there are more than enough of hot white girls in the US who will dress more sexy and will be easier to approach than any German girl you will ever meet.

I have followed this thread very closely and will need to write a more elaborate post about the topic...but let me tell you for now that if you think German girls are hotter or easier than white American girls, you are badly mistaken.

I'm pretty sure that if Roosh had visited Germany, he would have written "Don't Bang Germany", similar to Don't Bang Denmark. German culture and "pick up" or "casual sex" don't really belong in the same sentence.
