Humor and being light hearted and playful has always been a key part of my interactions with women. But by nature I am rather serious so it is something I have had to work on.

I was wondering if anyone has any good book or resource recommendations for brushing up on some humor/comedy/wit skills.

I am not talking about improv classes or anything but more so books, audio tapes, etc...

I think reading the novels of Balzac would be most useful for developing wit, since there are a lot of Red Pill characters constantly cutting each other down verbally. The books are all good, but the most gems are probably in "Lost Illusions."

My kind of funny usually works on the absurd and dark humor. I think it works better for serious people (like yourself) to use absurdity instead of humor because it's easy and usually draws a few laughs, especially from smarter girls who can follow big boy conversations.
It's not hard to pick up on it. You just have to read weird shit like Kafka and Lemony Snicket, crack inopportune jokes at any and all occasions, and sort of gaze at the enormity of the human condition and make pithy observations. Regular situations can also get exaggerated to the grandest scale of biblical proportions through the lens of an absurdist.
If you do this for a while, it can be done without much thinking, until eventually spontaneous (and conventional) comedy happens.

Are you referring to a series of unfortunate events or other publications by lemony snicket?

Pygmalion was a pretty good read personally, pretty witty humor from the early 20th century and the main male character would be considered Red Pill. Although you've probably already read it sometime in school.

I don't think reading a book is going to make you funny.. You should just make friends with funny people.
