Yep. Read the commenters on Heartiste and ask yourself: are these people you want to emulate? Do they seem like they're self-contented and secure men? Then compare them to folks on this forum. There's no comparison.

Heartiste has some quality information, and it's useful to inject a bit of dark triad into your average beta male's soul. But otherwise? If you started out as a typical schlub and only relied upon his advice and had never read a word about game in your life, I doubt you'd be getting much pussy. You'll be the try-hard laconic, aloof dude at the bar sitting alone at closing time.

My issue is that his game has always seemed like an adaptation to a joyless, hyper-competitive, and power-fetishizing culture - aka Washington. I went to Russia House in DC a couple times and it immediately made sense. I'm wondering if his game is particular to that city and that class, or if other people have been able to adapt it to their particular styles well.

He has always seemed very low-stimulation seeking, and I find that difficult to work into my game, which is flirty and engaging. The whole idea of saying 5 words at a time, but making sure she hangs on all of them....people on the internet seem to have a much easier time pulling that off on approach than anyone I've seen in real life.

Again, though, I'm drawn to his "system" because of the unparalleled success I have with it in LTR/Harem maintenance.

By the way, WIA, where are there videos of Roosh in field? I've always wondered what his style is like in action. Seems kind of morose in his videos but I can tell from his writing that he's got a sense of humor.

You didn't see any of the Eastern European footage? News cameras followed him around as he approached, and then typically the footage then transitions to him honestly describing American women.

Recap

- camera shows lithe eastern european chick
- Roosh walks over to her
- stops her
- talks to her
- they have a chat
- some move on, others react favorably.

It's so fluid, normal, and unremarkable that it should inspire cats who like day game.
