Fuck, I hope you guys aren't talking about the mute girl I saw last night - if so, she was pretty rugged. haha Might have been a different one though because it was at a nearby street food spot. But she was all done up trying to look sexy and kept making these fucked up, high pitched noises in an attempt to communicate.

EDIT: Not that I'm judging. Alcohol's a helluva drug.

You can get a decent guesthouse for this price. If you like, I can send you a link for Pointshound - very effective search tool - let me know if you want it. You can also get frequent flyer miles for booking it (and if you use my link, so will I ).
I'd book somewhere close to Riverside, but you don't need to be in Riverside. I stayed near central market, maybe 5 minutes and a $2 dollar tuk ride (BB would probably pay $1, but he's half a local by now) or $1 motorbike taxis ride from Riverside bars. There are a million guesthouses, just stay somewhere not to far west or north of Central market and you'll have good logistics, IMO.

Great sheet! Many other great posts with good intel by other members, very appreciated.

I'll be doing the same trip in August (Thailand - Cambodia - Vietnam).

Since Thailand has been covered numerous times I will stick just to reporting my experiences in Cambodia and maybe Vietnam
as well. Cambodia seems like a very fun place to be, looking forward to it!
