When I was in elementary school we had teamball.

Volleyball court with no net.

Volleyball ball.

The teams face each other like volleyball teams.

Most guys on a team start in (in the court).

3-4 guys start out (behind the other team standing behind the line of the court).

You throw the ball at each other. If you get hit but don't catch the ball, you're out and have to go to the out place. The first 3-4 guys to be thrown out let the guys who start out go in. After that the numbers dwindle until one team is thrown out.

Variations include a player who throws a ball that gets caught being out. Or, more than one ball can be used. That is scary.

No throwing at the head allowed.

It was scary to play with older boys with good arms. I never saw anyone throw at the head because the teacher who set it up (a man, of course) had to fight to get teamball allowed and we all knew the first real injury would be the end of the sport we loved.

My team got second place in the tournament and played for the championship in front of the whole school.

I'm pretty sure the entire reason the manosphere exists is because of America's shitty school system.

Men have shitty childhoods, grow up emasculated, and then look on the internet to find out how to get laid, and end up finding this place.

Given the existing popularity of the manosphere, and the continuing feminist trends of the school system, we can expect the manosphere to keep growing.

I was just about to make a post about this book and then I found your post. She makes good points when it comes to education/job market issues and how they effect on the economy. You can tell she didn't have many sources though as the book repeats certain anecdotes over and over when she should have found more evidence.

My dad gave it to me to read before he gives it to a worker who has just gone through a divorce with his (multiple times) cheating wife who he divorced but she is still getting half his salary.

I don't quite buy the "men are avoiding college because women are running it, yadda, yadda, yadda". The problem is that their are only like 6 or 7 majors that can give someone a return on investment. Some of the STEM majors (computer science, applied math, petroleum engineering), 2 of the business majors (accounting and finance) and probably nursing.

Everyone cannot be business owners or "hustlers".

Yes, but much fewer still can have successful careers in computer science, engineering, applied math, and finance.

The proportion of men who have the cognitive ability to be independent businessmen is much larger than the fraction which can attain the advanced degree and experience required for a career in science and mathematics related fields.

College might be expensive but you still don't want to find yourself competing with illegal immigrants for unskilled labor jobs.

Skilled trades are definitely options. I don't mention it specifically because different people may have different aspirations. Depending on your goals, that can mean anything-- an oildfield roustabout, a stage technician for a popular band, a small business owner, or a player whose harem includes a couple of wealthy women who support him. There's also the military, of course.

The danger is thinking that the financial leg up you get by skipping college will be enough all by itself. Sometimes an 18-19 year old kid will have a job and be making enough to support himself pretty well (better than many of his college-bound friends). He says "why bother with college and just pile on debt when I can keep working and making money?" 3-4 years later he gets laid off and the only experience he has is doing the job that was just lost to China. God forbid he knocked up his girlfriend along the way and has a kid to support.

We used to play smear the queer.

It was outlawed at recess when I was in about 6th grade....

In high school we still had dodgeball and floor hockey during PE.

Floor hockey could get a little rough. Rapping a guys unprotected shins usually provoked wails of agony.

Dodgeball the only rule was if you hit a guy in the head you were out.

I thought that was pretty weak, but guys would do it anyway for the hell of it.

We'd play it with about 20-25 guys and 5 balls in a small gym. About 40x50 or so.

Epic battles went down in that old gym....

And here is where we go wrong. We need to put a stop to them recommending anything regarding boys. Why do women get to have their say about boys lives, but when men try to do the same with girls, all hell breaks loose and they're called sexist?

This is controlling bullshit. The women in these groups want domain over how both boys and girls are raised and men in the US damn well better step up and say "NO" when it comes to boys. No one without a penis should ever, ever dictate (heh) what the "gender role" for boys should be.

Who the fuck made women the moral arbiters of both sexes? Fuck that.

Why would someone with one of those trades even consider living or moving to DC lol. That seems like the worst city in the country for blue collar workers.

I'm sure there's plumbers and electricians in the DC area surviving somehow, I bet that more than a few of them are also millionaires (contractors with their own businesses).
