And why would that interest you? If you don't speak French, no company will hire you as a freelance contractor (unless you have an extremely in-demand niche skill). Anyway to answer your question, I am a freelance engineer. 400 euros / day is at the mid-lower end of freelance salaries. If you have a good niche you can aim around 600 euros. You can see on malt.fr (French freelance website) stats about average salaries : https://www.malt.fr/t/barometre-tarifs. I don't use that site because it has too much competition now but it's a good place to check out the competition.

About to make this thread slightly more polarizing.

French women may as well be the most open-minded of all the Western Euro girls from my experience. I have seen guys of all races pull hot girls from that country and the country itself produces hot girls of various types, definitely some Arab stunners there.

So the strong bias on my end says French women are not overrated, since I have had success there.

I will add though, it seems like minorities and more tanned skinned/swarthier guys do well with Northern French girls. Unfortunately, it seems like girls in Southern France are closer in mindset and culture to Italian women which is never a good thing.

With respect to our esteemed French members like Montrose and GS, in general a french girl (or guy, for that matter) who speaks english well enough to have a conversation with you will be of the lower quality, personality wise. They think they are above even their own people and that s saying something, but this exposure to trashy anglo saxon culture makes them a lot less charming. To get the most out of French girls you either have to speak the language or play the social circle game.

My experience with French women has not been as vast as some of the guys on this thread but I really want to put this out there. From my experience, it seems like Southern France tends to produce the women with an inferiority complex. Maybe it is because they look Mediterranean and there is some low self-esteem involved with not looking white enough. I've had the best experience with French girls that looked more Nordic while the ones who looked closer to the dark hair tanned skin Italian types were extra bitchy.

Goes back to the point on this thread some have made, France seems to be the center of it all. So maybe Northern French girls have the pride and high self-esteem that you would find among Scandinavian women while Southern French girls not only have the looks, but worse yet, the personality and mentality of Mediterranean women.

They have nothing in common with scandinavians women, they have flemish ancestry or are flemish. Infact, the most bitchy girls from the north are all flemish french. Most Normands and Britons look like French Canadians and are pretty friendly, we actually get along pretty well with them.

I think that makes sense, it seems like poor regions produce people that are likely to value you based on your character rather than playing high school-style popularity games. The other thing which could be impacting my experiences is the fact that Northern France has more light featured women and I am a minority, it does seem like in Europe that Northern Euro women in general are the ones dating out in higher numbers.

Compare that to Southern France which has more Arab and Mediterranean culture in it, it makes sense that a pale Anglo white guy would be worshiped and held in high regard compared to a darker tanned skin guy or a minority in general.

Yeah in northern France there's a lot of arab gangs and gypsies and since economy is poor, some areas of Lille are pretty much no-go zones with real drug traffic and crime. I would say there's a much higher chance of finding a racist white girl in the north of France because of that, don't forget that the Front National votes were pretty high in the region.

Yeah people have said it before but France is not Paris. Incidentally most French girls who travel, whom you guys often encountered, live in Paris and speak English and come with the whole bad attitude package.

RoundTree's extensive experience with other regions of France is really appreciated. I would say Toulouse is the ideal city for young players. It is rated as the best college city in the whole of France and really has a "going out" culture.

Lots of people from my company come from Lyon, from what I have seen the guys are very chill (could be a company thing) and the girls a lot more temparate in attitude. They do come in the shorter size, brunette types which is my Kryptonite. Really got to pay that city a visit.

Britons are about the friendliest of the French. They love drinking and eating and are always on the fatter side. Their women thus are also more open to hooking up if you get them eating and drinking enough. And fuck that county makes the best pastry in all of France: crepe and kouign amann. No wonder they are fat and merry.

Heard a lot of good things about Montpellier too.

I spent 5 nights in Lille a couple years ago and I didn't notice this at all. I do recall some immigrant people in that mall by the train station but nothing stood out to me as being an overwhelming amount.

I'm not discounting what you are saying. I didn't venture much outside the historic centre so that could explain it.

That's too bad to hear though. I have very fond memories of my time in Lille especially when compared to Paris.
