^^^^Damn right. I'm one more bad commercial from calling it a night.
Jeez, this is like the Bills showed up instead of the Patriots.
That Anhueser Busch commercial was the worst yet.
I cannot wait to see Excelsior drop a gif or something for Gabriel smashing Butler ankles on that route.
That shit was nasty.

I should of put down money on the game....

SJW beer: Nasty on the outside of the can via this marketing campaign, nasty beer on the inside of the can.
Anhueser Busch = Nasty beer. As Trump would say "Not nice people."

I don't know who that guy is, but damn, if he doesn't have his tailored suit game down. Looking sharp!
Looks like a boss in that red one.

That's Arthur Blank. He's a founder of Home Depot and owner of the Falcons.

The response that ad is getting is exactly what they want to happen. How can even extreme right wingers be upset about it? Its a white german immigrant who starts a massive corporation.
Anhueser Busch hires the best marketing people in the world. I think that was a great commercial.
I also think Busch Beer is amazing. I love it.

This Falcons team is going to be near the top of the NFC for years to come. QB in their prime surrounded by young, explosive players on both ends of the ball and great coaching.
This defense is playing Brady better than the Seahawks and they don't even have their best corner on the field (Trufant).

I hate those things, but I'm realistic - I know the Patriots are favorites and are pretty likely to win tonight. I don't like that conclusion, but I am ready to reluctantly embrace it.
That being said, nothing would brighten the end of my weekend more than a Patriots loss tonight. I'll hope against all odds that it happens.
Go Falcons.
Why don't you like Boston or the Patriots?
How much time do you have?
I hate the Patriots because they embody the spirit and culture of Boston in a way nothing else quite does, imo. I've never seen a team whose faces are more truly representative of a city's culture and people. They're one with their town in a way just about no other team in sports is.
Why do I hate Boston? That's a long story and I dont want to totally de-rail this thread. Cliffnotes:
-I don't like the weather
-I don't like the nightlife (too few options and those that are around shut down way too early)
-The dating scene sucks, especially if you don't look a certain way.
-I don't like the culture here
Let me expand on this one a little bit: I hate nothing more than closet racialists. These are the kind of folks who virtue signal to no end and want desperately to be seen as anything but intolerant, but whose actions very clearly show they're really not as tolerant or open-minded as they say they are. Boston is the national capital for those people. I hate them - they're part of the reason I've grown into more and more of a conservative with time (spending your entire adult life surrounded by them will do that).
Also, you know all of those smug academics folks around here spend time lambasting for their promotion of politically correct foolery and SJW-isms? Nobody makes them better than Boston. This is SJW ground zero. This is intellectual leftism/progressivism ground zero - the leaders and drivers of those movements are housed and educated here first and foremost.
Boston is also rich entitled and-often-hypocritical-progressive ground zero - Hillary Clinton is this city's spirit animal, there's nobody else that most of the folks here would rather be. I think if the typical Somerville or Cambridge resident could pick an avatar to represent them, she'd be it.
-Architecture sucks (feels like it was built for a perpetually grey day)
-Expensive with fuck-all to do (near NY money in some parts without anything near NY-experiences to compensate)
-Highly segregated
-For all of the talk of the virtue signalling/fake liberals I mentioned above and the prevalence of SJW-isms, I can also say, frankly, that I've never been in a place where I've felt more actual racial tension/negativity in my life. There's real hostility between groups here and actual open racism that I don't feel back where I'm from (and I come from a part of the country that is not that far away from New England and substantially less statistically diverse or politically democratic than Boston). It is my time here that convinced me that the stereotypical "Democrats = never racist, Conservatives = always racist" was a blatant, malicious lie. Boston is the bluest place I've ever been and easily the most racist.
Thus, Boston gives you the worst of all worlds: you get actual racism and extreme SJW-ism plus rabid virtue-signaling hypocrisy in one neat, tidy Puritan package.
-Did I mention the dating scene here sucks? Because it does.
Anyway, there are my reasons. Fuck Boston and fuck the Patriots. Any L this city takes is beautiful to me.
Enough talking, back to the game (at least until the next commercial...)
Sorry to continue the derailment of the thread but Excelsior, I cosign everything you have to say about Boston. The racial bullshit, ugly entitled chicks, shitty nightlife, the leftism and pseudo intellectualism drove me insane when I lived there. And I moved there from Toronto of all places. I couldn't wait to leave that place. I moved to Chicago after and it is night and day compared to Boston, much better people here, much better place to live despite all the gang violence and corruption. My favorite Boston losing sports moment is when the Chicago Blackhawks scored two goals in 17 seconds in the last minute of game 6 to win the 2013 Stanley cup. So yeah while I respect Brady and Belichick, fuck the city of Boston.

Well, that's the game. The Pats right guard is pathetic, dude couldn't stop a transgender girl scout the way he plays.

Grady Jarrett with back-to-back sacks (3 for the game) -- he's in his second year. Vic Beasley Jr. led the league in sacks -- also second year.
Both starting safeties (Neal and Jones) are rookies. Kept Brady contained, 10 tackles for Neal, and Jones had the strip on Blount earlier.
This will be a top 5 defense within the next couple years.

A nation of immigrants? Yes, of course we are. One of my parents is an immigrant. Like Busch, I have German ancestry. Just as Trump pushes for a border wall and extreme vetting, this is the commercial they come up with? Talk about extremely poor timing, or their attempt (like most big businesses) to virtue signal about how tolerant they are.
Smells more like subliminal advertising to me, pushing a narrative that Trump is bad news for the country. Given all the other bullshit commercials that we've seen for super bowls in recent years, including the insulting Audi one, I'm less likely to cut them slack than ever before.
The Budweiser Christmas commercials with the horses and the sleigh are some of the best ads ever produced. Pure Americana, tradition and culture. Nothing trashy, no SJW message needed. That I can get behind.
Oh, and Kona Brewing > Busch any day of the week. I'm glad you think Busch is tasty, it helps keep your beer budget down.

SJWs are gonna flip out at that T Mobile commercial.
