I think it might be easier at the top, and that's how it had to be for you to be there.

Of course it's a lot less stressful once you're there. Getting to the top is the hard part, not enjoying it once you're there. A big part of game is improving yourself because that's a worthwhile goal but because it also will make many things much easier with women and with life in general.

There's nothing shameful about working hard and putting your blood sweat and tears into something you want. Maybe you're realizing that what you want is not just to bang girls, but to bang high quality girls.

Is the the path to 8-9s a cumulative next step from working with 6-7s or do you have to bite the bullet, stop wasting (for lack of a better articulation on this) time or energy with 6-7s, and just surround with 8-9s? Like Gio wrote, it could be a steep learning curve and massive dry spell. Maybe there is no correlation.

I think going straight for the 8-9s is like pyramid theory for sports or music, you only see the one successful guy who made it out of 1000s corralling all the models in the club, or being the DJ that girls know, etc. Sure, you can get lucky, that's why we call it getting lucky. But their shit tests and BS sensor is so much more developed in my experience, it is much harder if you can't smash your way through the 6 and 7s.

Aloof or cocky game may be learned best from willing to let the 6 and 7s go, and then you have to internalize that deeply to keep up with the 9s. Once your inner game is complete, bagging the hotter chicks often comes down to logistics and being accepted in their circle somehow - friends, family, co-workers, club staff helping you out, classmates. Putting yourself in the right situations repeatedly certainly helps.

Yes, BUT, ONLY TO A POINT. The correlation between 7s to 9s is limited. 8s and 9s are a bigger challenge and require a more advanced training strategy.

The best way to get better and gaming 8s and 9s is to game 8s and 9s.

You lift 50 pound dumbbells; you'll see improvement. But only up to a point. You can't do one or two sets with 60 or 70 pounds - and then go back to the 50 (and you for sure can't go back to the 30's and 40's). Brief story of my weekend:

Alright, so lately I haven't been gaming (not that I game that much normally) since I'm dating a girl who I consider really hot. This chick is my female roommate's friend. Started dating her 2-3 weeks before New Year's Eve, did the NYE thing with her, went on a trip for a week, have been hanging with her a good amount since.

At this point I'm pretty certain that this chick is really sprung on me and she'll want a relationship (which so far looks like a good idea for a change). In the meantime, I've had and will have some opportunities.

At this point, from a purely logistical perspective, I think hooking up with/dating a girl and bringing her around my place is 100% out (since my roommate may be around). I think if I meet a girl really compelling I'll try to push for her place if we need privacy, but otherwise just stick with playing out what I've got.

Am I being too cautious? I definitely dig this girl, she's very pretty, feminine, and has a phenomenal body. I spent most of this weekend with her. If I hadn't met her through and she wasn't good friends with my roommate, I wouldn't even have this conflict.

I've come to this conclusion as well. In the last 3 years I'm sure less than 10% of my bangs involved any LMR at all. Usually they just led me right to the bed and started stripping down, often after taking steps to isolate me. Went out last night around 10pm to try some night game. I pinged a guy I work with that is very into game--although he aims way too low--, asked him if he's pulled from bars around our work area. So I hit up a local sports bar he said he's pulled from.

I got there a little after 10 on a Monday night and the place is basically dead. A couple on a date, 2 hipster guys hanging out with 2 hipster fat chicks, a larger mixed group of people in their late 30's sitting at a table. Late 40's older, ugly bartender. A couple of guys sitting solo at the bar.

I sat at the bar and ordered a Guinness. Chilled and gulped it heartily, looking around the place feeling bored.

With no girls to talk to in the whole place, I got frustrated and bounced after one drink.

This happens to me pretty frequently. Is Monday night really that dead everywhere or should I be looking for better spots?

I usually do Daygame but with 2014 I'm doing the Roosh Program which calls for 10-20 approaches per week. So gotta get 'em in when I can.
