Had a good friend over for the weekend. This guy was killing it last year or so with his niche on Tinder, which is milfs/cougars. Not at their prime physiologically as women, but some of them much better looking than girls half their age.

Anyway, my buddy tells me he met a girl and wants to get serious. She lives in a different country but it seems like both of them want to give it a go. I'm actually happy for him because he seems genuinely interested and excited. He isn't naive though, he knows it is challenging with the distance. However he deleted all dating apps and his accounts on them, which I call the first step towards a serious relationship in the age we live in.

How this affects me is that this guy was the guy I have traveled the most with lately. And one of the last remaining single guys in my close social circle. I have a couple of friends left in my situation but with some differences in our mindset. I have been doing things by myself lately, but it feels like I will be doing even more after this development. Moreover, when your friends start getting into relationships and especially if you're over 30, it makes you think about things. Perhaps putting more effort and interest into that girl you like more than using that energy into lining up a new one. Who knows, instinct rules at the end of the day.

In other news, I myself have a couple of leads that I want to close (#GlengarryGlenRoss). Regardless of what happens with them, I feel I have energy and momentum after my trip to Australia. Hopefully it will pay off.

Have been out of commission due to exams but yesterday it felt god damn good to night game.

I was in a club in the US and got choosing signals from a Slim 5'10 German 8 but with a big nose. She smiles and tells me that I'm not dark enough for her (I'm lightskinned black) but I'm still hot. I got caught off guard like a motherfucker so I was like what? ok, then shook my head in confusion as she walked off. Should I have treated that as a shit test? You are hot but too big of a nose. The TL;DR from my Friday night out:

a) Focus should be on the big picture even if it means doing a move which is considered beta, here and there

In a few more words, sparing many nuances:

We stood outside by her and mine car, I grabbed her by the shoulder pulled her close to me, rubbed her back as we talked outside, winding down the date. So had quite an interesting experience yesterday. I had lined up two new dates in the afternoon and evening through Tinder, nothing unusual. Later, when she leaves at night I realize that during our whole meeting I never even left bed. Life is good.

I think I could have gotten away with a kiss or more. I avoided the kiss, as I didn't want to come as thirsty, and leave something to be desired. Then again, I've been on first dates where I did make the kiss.

That was a typo at the end, I mean't to say she DID sound interested in more dates. And guess what I was right, she just agreed to a second date.

Question is if I set the date at my place and make it a dinner, wine, and movie date. Will she be scared OFF? I'm leaning she would come over, she told me she wants to do more things and feels more free for fun, etc.
