I lived in California, and if his show had mainstream exposure (say MTV), I can assure he would get laid on the fame alone (seen it with my own eyes). It wouldn't be as good as, say, being a big-time movie star, but it would get him laid in LA for sure.

I have also seen MTV reality stars (more than one) get straight up knocked out or told to go home (and did).

This is at the beaches however and a ways back. Things have eased up, as we have mentioned before on here.

I think it is dependent on where you roll.

I am taking three weekend trips this summer.

I am flying down to LA buying a half an O from the best dealer I can see. Strapping it to my nuts and flying to Miami.

Then I am gonna hit up a FWB out there and have her hook me up with the best dealer she knows (of course she is probably banging him too because that's how strong drug dealer game works - haters gonna hate). After I grab a half O I will do the entire onion over a week comparing the specimens.

Since I won't be able to sleep I'll troll all the high end spots in Miami searching for the Gmanifesto.

When I am done I will fly to Montreal to search for him again since it is where he says he'll be at for his second city. Since he's a drug dealing smoker i'll ask everyone within ear shot if they have a light. I'll drop $10Gs out there searching for the best coke, smoke to death and die.

However, be sure to write my obituary for me. My last post will compare Miami drugs to LA drugs and we'll know which city wins.

After all the only currency that matters is snow, blow, lines to bang dimes and dat dem dere hey yo llello.

I think that NY probably has more going for it fashion wise for a lot of reasons- weather, location, business..

I'd bet our top quality models are better than L.A.s

But, we are also getting an influx of Lena Dunham types.

Maybe NY has best and the worst.

But, California probably has better middle quality on average.. plain-Janes have to look good for the beach 365 days a year.

Yes, the bad weather means that people have to wear more clothes which means more focus on what people are wearing.

NYC has some of the worst weather in the world I'd bet.

I love L.A. weather. After Sandy hit, we don't have any beaches.. people were starting to go to the rockaways more and now it's all fucked.

I think we have better high-end cuisine as well.. where's our chef friend to answer to this ?

NY probably has a better nightlife scene as well.My sense is that NY is more sophisticated than a place like L.A. and that there are more layers of hipness here.

My gut feeling is that things are probably just more extreme over here overall.

The only really lame thing about NYC is that we are so close to NJ and LI

Lived in NYC. Soup is spot-on. LOTS more diversity than any place else in the U.S. In LA, you get Asians and Persian girls and Latinas (well, Mexicanas, and a few from other Central American countries...not so many from South American countries). But in NYC you get that, plus all the hot eastern European girls. Oh sure, you see some Russians in Miami (Sunny Isles, Hallandale) and LA, but in NYC you can't turn around without bumping into a tall, thin, large-breasted, angular-faced Polish or Czech or Russian beauty. It's heaven. BUT, we also have some of the loudest, most annoying, most inappropriately egotistical 4s and 5s you ever laid eyes on!! Only in Brooklyn would a skank like Leah Dunham delude herself into thinking"Yeah, I'm hot!".

I liked Miami even better than NYC. Lived there for a long time. You don't get the diversity you get up in NYC - few Asians, few Indians, few Eastern Europeans (who mostly stick to their own community). BUT, you get some of the hottest Latinas! Cuban girls are the most numerous, and they blow Mexican chicks away! You also get a lot of Brazilians, Venezuelans (hottest girls in Latin America, for my money), Columbians, etc. And, because the culture is very south-of-the-border, the girls are feminine. Also, because its hot and humid year round, they wear PRACTICALLY NOTHING!

LA has consistency going for it, and the attitudes aren't too bad. But you still get a lot of star-struck bitches who want to fuck someone who can advance their fledgling acting careers (by fledgling, I mean they are waitresses hoping to blow the right director and land a part). LA attitude is somewhere between NYC (where its all about money and Wall Street) and Miami (where there is no attitude, just can you show her a good time).

For my money, I'll take Miami, then LA, then NYC.

This. People dont understand how key this is. To come to California, you need money, willpower, and DREAMS. California is sold as the city lined with gold. A veritable shark-tank, and who's who of industry, glamour and culture.

LA is a bad place for an average guy. By that I mean average in looks, lifestyle, income, game, social connections. If you are average here, then you are a goldfish in a big tank full of sharks and barracudas. Guys like this will typically be serial monogamers with 5s-6s they met through their social network or OKCupid, maybe a 7 if they're really lucky. Either that or endure long dry spells. If you are below average here than God help you as this place is unforgiving to nobodies. L.A. is the only place I've seen where I see socially normal guys having long dry spells. Though we know there are of course worse places such as San Jose. I have met many guys that have moved here from somewhere else. And not one, not a SINGLE ONE said it was easier here than back home. Guys I know who had normal sex lives in Chicago constantly bitch about the rejections they're getting from 5s on OKCupid. Only a small number of guys will find L.A. a pussy paradise, which I guess is true in most places in America, but I think a lot of guys have this dream that they're going to come here and there's all these fly, friendly, sexy California girls on the beach that they'll be swooping with ease when the reality is closer to this:





I know it's satire and things aren't quite as bad as they portray here but it wouldn't be so funny if there wasn't a good degree of truth to the video.

Competition for desirable women here is fierce. In DC you may also have fierce competition for quality women, but in their case it's due to a shortage of them. In the case of LA, it's not the lack of such women per se, it's the fierce competition from *guys*. As I was recently telling a friend, you go outside here and you see Ferraris and Bentleys driving around the sunset strip and nobody even bothers turning their head to look. Literally every other car on the road is a luxury foreign import. You have all these name-dropping ballers that can spend five figures on bottle service without batting an eyelash at the tab. You have a lot of fit guys, this being the body-building capital of the world with a gym on every corner. A lot of guys with cool lifestyles, access to parties in the hills, promoters, musicians, directors, casting agents. If a good-looking woman from middle America wants the best, she's not going to stay in her home town. A place like L.A. just offers more opportunites to attractive women who want the sexy lifestyle and to slut it up with top tier guys. Now say a guy is a car mechanic(and I'm not in any way busting on El Mechanico), you go to some nice spot in Hollywood or one one of these daytime pool parties, chat up some girls and tell them you're a car mechanic. What's going to happen? You will be nexted on the spot. A guy with a blue collar job living in Akron or Pittsburg might be a completedly respected member of the community. But if you have an average job here, then you are considered a nobody. That's why Angelinos are notorious for being ambiguous about their job titles and have mastered the art of embellishing what they do. Someone may call themselves an "actor" then you find out that they had a minor role in a straight-to-DVD movie 3 years ago and they've waiting tables ever since. Or some girl that's a "model" yet her only accomplishment is putting up a model mayhem profile. And every other damn person is a "promoter" of some sort. All he could be doing is standing on Hollywood Blvd pestering people with flyers to the Tier 4 club down the street, but hey, he's a Hollywood promotor! You have a lot of shit like that here. Everbody wants to feel like a VIP, an insider. It's a mentality in this town that everyone has to have fame, wealth, be a somebody, have the coolest lifestyle and the most connections. If you are that guy and have the lifestyle and cash to back it up, you are in one of the best places in the world. It's a pussy paradise for you. When you think about it, that whole contigous area stretching from the Hollywood Hills through WeHo, Beverly Hills, Bel-Aire, Pacific Palisades, Santa Monica might as well be another Monte Carlo. That's your competition if quality women is what you want. So average guys instead will be fighting it out for 5s and 6s on dating sites or hipster dives. Or places like Sharkeez(lol). You aren't going to see many 8+ girls outside the gliterrati zone. Something we've discussed here before. There are some dope venues downtown like The Edison and Perch, but they don't attract the hotties that Hollywood does.

I truly do think that this city has played such a vital role in the game community precisely because it's a tough nut to crack. And even then, game has it's limits. I just don't see some random guy with no connections flying in here one weekend using some Mystery Method at Greystone Manor and killing it.
