Add me to the list of Californians on RVF.

My guess for the large number of guys on RVF besides population would be that guys here need a higher level of game compared to other areas. Girls have higher standards here and I see so many girls who date 2 or 3 points higher than they are (ex. fatties with fit guys.)

The LA higher energy, "vibey", "lingo laden", "drugs not off the table", "tequila shots", "good time, party vibe", smiling, positive Game will not translate perfectly to DC (due more to people in DC being miserable human beings), but will be way stronger than his competition and many girls will respond well to it.

LA guy wins 99 nights out of 100.

(Side note: I have spent significant time in both cities so this isn't speculation, this is based on reality).

I see what you mean, but as far as game goes, take a guy from CA and bring him to NYC and don't have him mention where he's from. If even isn't name dropping his homeland and his accent doesn't give him away, are you saying that he's going to fare better than a NYC in CA?

Maybe we have more posts on here about CA guys doing better in NYC because we have more CA guys here posting in general. If we had as many NYC guys posting as CA guys, there might be more success stories about the travels to CA.

It's fiction, but what about the Hank Moody factor? I think a lot of guys who make California cool are actually from out of town places like NYC. Whereas, if you grow up in NYC, you have automatic cred with visiting foreigners.

Maybe it's time for a RVF Player Olympics...a friendly competition of who's the best, etc. I sometimes sense some frustration on the forum because really, we have beat feminism, hypergamy, and all that other crap to death. Nothing more needs to be said, and probably 95% of what you need to be good at game is already out there or here.

I'm not sure how such a competition would work logistically, but it would certainly be more fun and positive to think about something like that than who has more rep points. I mean isn't that kind of bragging like you have the highest level wizard on WoW? Just sayin.
