I know there's a lot of players of different experience on this board. I was just wondering, what's some of y'all's take on the 7 hour rule? I know Mystery says it usually takes between 4 and 10 hours to bag a new chick, with the average being around 7 hours. Would most of y'all agree with this? That that is the case?

I would see it as a guide more than a rule. On average it is about 7 hrs....now, that is of course, 7 SOLID hours of uninterrupted gaming in at least 3 different venues, places and experiences...I don't count phone/texting time as part of the 7hrs. It's got to be up in her face, kino, groping, laffin' and escalating. many time sit will be less, but between 7-9 hrs of planning to physically be in her face exuding sexual vibes is about right...I always plan for 7, but prepare for 9...more than that, and she is just not interested in sex with you - no matter how much more time you invest...time to go aloof...

I always thought that this "7 hour rule" was about creating a lasting connection, where it will keep the woman coming back, because I'm sure a lot of us have had a SNL where it went down within a few hours of meeting at a bar, club, party, etc. You can have sex with a girl you've just met, but if she's wasted at the time, she might not be down to see you a week later, when you try to call. At least that's kind of what I've observed and experienced to a certain extent.

I read your post Wonka and the problem you are encountering is not the "7H rule" problem.

the problem is that you are being too "impatient", "overeager" and "overanxious" to get laid with the women. This can come accross as being "too horny" and borderline desperate or it can backfire and make the women feel "cheap" or just "a piece of ass".

As Modeone said, it's better to make the women anxious and impatient for your dick than to be Mr. "I just can't wait to tear your clothes off."

How to achieve that? the way to do so is to be upfront, straightforward and direct like you are with your intentions but to come accross as a busy person.

i.e. tell her "I want to get to know you on a more intimate level but I'm busy in the next coming weeks, so how about we meet in 2-3 weeks at my place or your place."

this sends her the message that you have balls to say what's on your mind but that you are a busy man with a life of his own. it will make her curious and intrigued about you and she'll be thinking that she has competition. More often than not, she will then start pressing to meet you "earlier".

so in conclusion keep showing her your balls "figuratively" but don't be overeager or desperate to show them to her literaly.

Vast majority involve a few drinks;

I don't think time is that important.

The truth is... it takes as long as it takes.

That rule of Mystery's has hurt guys more than it has helped.

@Mixx - I know you're one of the more experienced dudes on the board, so definitely a good look to hear this from you.

@metalhaze - Yeah, that's exactly my problem, and I'm realizing it now. Appreciate the input.

@Roosh - sounds like a vague as answer at first sight, but I get what you mean. Some girls are down to fuck pretty quickly, some girls it will take a lot more comfort/rapport with. It's all about feeling them out and recognizing what and how to escalate with each chick to some extent. Definitely something I need to work on.
