They have all sorts of notifications, for instagram, facebook, twitter and all that other social media shit. It's constant stimulation from worthless crap. It's like what reality tv was 10 years ago, but multiplied by several factors, since this is on their phone and goes wherever they go.
On the upside, it gives serious negging opportunities.
