Pretty sure 1. I'd be surprised to find there will be many answers over 10 given she wasn't a prostitute and never divorced her first husband. Things were much more traditional back in those days.

Both sets of my grandparents married at 16-18 years old and have been married for 55 and 60 years respectively.

One, and they have a very happy and successful marriage because I have 9 uncles and aunts.

Both of them are pushing 90 years old, they're still married, and they still live in their own home.

This comes to mind.

There's probably an element of self-selection bias involved, but I can't help but find it amusing the number of posters who had a very low estimate for their mothers, e.g. 1--their fathers.

Come to think of it... King Oedipus, if you asked him, would have probably responded something like "I don't know my biological mother's notch count, since I never knew her, but I bet it was low, like 1."

And we all know how that worked out.
