Information US = Poosy Purgatory. Here's why...
Almost every time I meet a Western girl here in SouthEast Asia, she manages to annoy the crap out of me with her behavior. Specifically, women from the US, Canada, UK and to a lesser degree Australia exhibit very strange behavior indeed...

I don't hate these women for acting in such an off putting manner. I feel great compassion for them, and for the men who have to deal with them because they don't have the option to absquatulate to a PP. They're just products of their cultures, as we all are to varying degrees.

What I think is happening is this: It's a question of economics.

The US, UK, etc., superficially endorse sexual promiscuity and freedom. But on a deeper level, what's ACTUALLY happening is de facto sexual repression. If you visit a European country like say, Germany, they treat sex very matter-of-factly. Naturally, even. In the US, it's a big fanfare with women puzzling over what it means, what it could do to their reputation, blah blah blah. This is all speaking IN GENERAL, of course...

The force multiplier that makes these places Poosy Purgatories is simply the ratio of eligible women to eligible men. So 2 scenarios are common:

1. Women want men more than men want women = Poosy Paradise

2. Men want women more than women want men = Poosy Purgatory

If you step onto the Bangkok skytrain in the financial district on any given morning, you'll see about 3 gorgeous young, feminine women for every 1 (feminine) guy!

I've always thought it was crazy how friendly and easy going Thais are, especially coming from Miami Beach where dudes want to fight you for looking at their girls or walking too confidently. I see now it's just an issue of sexual repression and inflated competition for scarce resources (poontang).

If people are happy and sexually fulfilled, they're not going to be fighting each other and starting wars and struggling up the career ladder past the point where it's killing them, JUST to score a low quality woman who acts like butter wouldn't melt in her mouth.

This is just a theory. It's more complex than that I'm sure. But if you've ever felt like everybody around you is crazy and the dating scene in your country is fundamentally flawed...you're not crazy! It IS flawed. Now it's on you to find greener pastures.

You're preaching to the choir bud. Not sure if you've looked through the forum much, but we've come to this conclusion ages ago.

Osho: Botulism in your salad is the path to enlightment.

That said, I agree with your comments. But keep in mind that a mans paradise could be another man hell. Some guys cant get laid for shit, and then they move abroad and kill it, while the locals sit there with their dicks in their hands. In the US Ive had girls approaching me on the street, and Im not even that good looking.

I generally agree with most of what the OP writes and also have a hard time putting up with white, Anglo women. I'd like to add that not all Canadian women are so bad, the French Canadians from the province of Quebec are some of my favorite women to date in the world, I can see myself settling down with a Quebecoise one day. I'm still on the fence regarding SE Asian women, I think I need to do more research and bang more before I come to a conclusion.

VincentVinturi: Are you in BKK now? I'm here until tomorrow and wouldn't mind going to a pub or something for a few beers with some RVF guys, I'll make a post in the meet up section.

God damned them all, I was told we'd cruise the seas for American gold, we'd fire no guns-shed no tears, now I'm a broken man on a Halifax pier, the last of Barrett's privateers!

It is basically that western men and women are very competitive due to culture. This means that a guy with no physical charm, no money and no skills at all will try to gget woken any way he can thus increasing the value of the women in the market.Everyone makes an active effort in the western world no matter how ugly he looks while in slavic countries for example people accept their fate and do not make any effort to compensate.

RE: US = Poosy Purgatory. Here's why...
My wife sometimes gets negative comments here. We saw a brOadway show the other day. Some chubby cow said something about here short skirt. This has happened before. I can only imagine what comments she would get outside of NYC. Thing Is back in fsu they see our tv shows and the actors are pretty and dress nice. But in reality when they come here they notice the real American girls where sweat pants and flip flops. I believe this causes sexual fustration for Anglo guys. The Anglo women are just jealous.
That being said no place beats NYC to live once you find your pussy parodied. Just import the pussy here lol. I can live anywhere in the world. Got a pension and technically a millionaire(trying onedY to be a multi one). But I enjoy actually chatting with people in my native language. Being able to go to a show. Actually getting decent food at reasonable prices. My point is one needs to strike a balance. Posy parodied unfortunately trends to always have lots of bugs hot or too cold weather,dAnger, and unsecured living conditions. My flat sits empty in Ukraine because accept for chicks. The country has nothing to offer lol. Another thing is the quality of sex is important. My wife was unique in that she had the western slut factor. But most fsu girls were boring sexually. The American chick who is only cute actually is more wild in bed. Latinos also are better.
Once you actually find pAradise and fuck around a bit most guys will get bored. Sex will become boring. Like the movie hostel. Guys moved on from sex tourism to killing humans lol. As an expat I witness this first hand. Guys tAlking about moving home.

A lot of this was covered in the "American Women Abroad" post:

Quote:"I quickly realized what it was: the cackle of a herd of American women, unrestrained and loud with no self-restraint. Here they were in their natural habitat. In Asia, women had restraint."

I agree with jimukr104, as much as I enjoy traveling, I will always miss certain things about home, especially when traveling in the third world, his complaints about the poosy paradises ring true. Even the little things like good customer service, no bartering, no taxi rip offs, etc make being home more comfortable in many ways. Also, I haven't given up completely on the women in Canada, even the Anglo ones, there's still some good ones out there, you just have to know where to look (not Toronto, haha).

I'll continue to travel in the third world but am still on the fence as to whether or not I'll settle in a poosy paradise. Sometimes I think that the forum gives a false sense of reality and leads some to believe that if they're not happy with the women in their home country then jumping on a plane and going to a foreign country will solve all of their problems. This simply isn't true, yes you will probably get laid more than back home and the quality of women may even be higher (looks wise, not socio-economic), but there's a lot of other factors and issues you'll be dealing with when you land in a possy paradise (especially if its you first time in the third world), jimukr104's post nailed it.

Why don't more Canada guys that don't like it move to Montreal?

Everyone in Canada seems to love Montreal.

I mean, if I lived in Albany, NY and was miserable, I would just make the move to NYC.

There's no money to be made in Montreal in traditional jobs, especially for an anglophone. If a guy wants to "make it" in Canada you have to move to Toronto or Alberta. For a guy already with paper, on the other hand, ...

I can't have sex with your personality, and I can't put my penis in your college degree, and I can't shove my fist in your childhood dreams, so why are you sharing all this information with me?

I'm seriously considering making the move G and I've had job offers there so its a feasible move. Most Anglo guys wouldn't move there because many don't speak French, which is basically a requirement to find a decent job there. A lot of Anglo Canadians are brain washed into thinking that Quebec is a terrible place full of separatists who hate all Anglos, which simply isn't true.

Basically if I move to Quebec it will be a major lifestyle change, one I think I may be ready for and it boils down to two lifestyle options:
#1) Do I work 6 months a year making good money and travel the rest of the year wherever in the world I want?

#2) Do I work a regular 9-5 job in a cool city like Montreal, make less money (about half) and only have 2-3 weeks vacation per year?

Its a tough call but I'm honestly getting tired of living out of suit cases and living full time in Montreal doesn't sound too bad.

RE: US = Poosy Purgatory. Here's why...
VincentVinturi, you seem to be very familiar with Thailand and the dating scene, tell me, are you rolling like Rionomad and have managed to penetrate (pun intended) the RCA frequenting upper crust HISO girls, or are you skanking it up in the Farang infested whore bars on Sukhumvit like most of us other greasy poon hounds?

If you're doing the HISO thing, I'd like to hear more about your experiences, slumming it with the uneducated, superstitious peasants from Isaan gets old pretty quick. Rionomad and I were talking about this last night, BKK gets a pretty bad rep as a sleazy place full of whores, mainly because so many forum members (myself included) don't leave the Sukhumvit bubble and try hitting up RCA and other higher end areas (for various reasons).

I think the forum needs to hear more from the guys who are gaming the HISO girls, so all of the other guys who have yet to visit that great city understand that there's a whole other side to BKK, one that is much less skanky, but obviously isn't so easy to get into.

God damned them all, I was told we'd cruise the seas for American gold, we'd fire no guns-shed no tears, now I'm a broken man on a Halifax pier, the last of Barrett's privateers!

Nice.

Yeah, I mean, it seems like such an obvious move.

I mean hell, I am American and I think I will spend part of the year there each year for the foreseeable future.

It is your same country.

French is really just a minor hurdle.

I would say it is more important to know Spanish in Miaimi than French in Montreal.

As an American, you have a non-biased, objective view of Montreal and Quebec, you see it as it is: a unique North American city with great night life, women, etc. You didn't grow up with the anti-Quebec brain washing that the average anglo Canadian was exposed to his entire life. You'd pretty much need to take a course on Canadian history to really understand the Anti Quebec sentiment in Canada, as well as the anti-Canada sentiment in Quebec.

Quebec had two referendums where they almost separated and tore the country apart (1980 and 95') and had devastating affects on our national unity, many people still aren't over it and the separatist threat is still very much alive in Quebec.

Myself, I learned the language and moved to Montreal to study and also got a uni degree in French, I'm fluent. Quebec is a whole different world that many Canadians don't really care about, just as many Quebecers don't give a shit about Canada. Kind of sad really, but I'm glad that I have the option to move back there, something I'm keen on doing in the near future, we'll see.

I get where you are coming from.

Your right, as an American, I didn't know sh*t about Montreal.

I wrote this a while back:

Quote:3. History of Montreal. I realized that Americans don’t learn any history of Montreal or Quebec in school. Basically, an American school teaches you that: “The French came over from France to Quebec and started fur trading things like Beaver Pelts. And now we have modern day Montreal!” That’s about it. Hell, I didn’t even know the capital of Canada. I felt like an idiot. That is until I asked all my friends if they knew the capital of Canada and I think only one knew it on a second guess. And a lot of my friends are legitimately smart and well traveled. Or at least smarter than me.

That is sick that you are fluent in French. I think that would make assimilation there super easy, wouldn't it?

I mean, that are a lot of anglophones in Montreal plus all the Irish, Italian, Lebanese, Morrocans etc. that also speak French.
