Go to any university town during the week - and you will see tons of good looking chicks, pretending to work, in any of the Starbucks stores during the day. I was in one today and saw seven girls who were easily 8's or 9's.

The only good looking girls in the UK are either foreign, or middle-class and young (the working class girls in the UK are all horrendous). For the latter - you will usually find them in Starbucks inbetween lectures during the week.

I guess I'm in the minority but I like British girls, as long as they are, as you say, young and middle class. Curvy, tall, big tits and ass, very casual attitude towards sex.

^ A huge problem in the States is portion size. I guess it began with the whole 'bigger is better' culture that probably began as displays of wealth, or something. I read somewhere that an overweight American woman said something like "The French are thin because they can't afford good food" or some other insanely stupid statement. It was in relation to a dieting book that based itself on the French diet. Portion size is a problem here too, for women. My Grandma always said "If women eat the same portions are their husbands, they'll get fat." She was right of course, for pretty commonly known reasons too! I tried expaining the whole required calories thing to a slightly chubby girl at work and it was like I had said a revelation. If I'd said it to Lindy West, I'd have said an abomination.

On a side note, I love this thread. In a bizarre sort of ode to the weird and wonderful aspects of a night one in Britain, it's hilarious.

Luton used to be one of the shitest towns in the uk. But it is improving daily as it is filling up with EE girls. I fly out of Luton airport a lot and I see stunning EE girls in and out of that airport every time. When the EE lot push the rest of the scum out of Luton the place will improve even more .

At the rate the 'scum' in Luton breed unfortunately there is little chance of that happening but nice idea Also even Lodz is nicer than Luton so aside of SOME air crew most Poles/Lithuanians/Latvians etc will end up living away from there.

As you know the nights out up north can be fucking rough, people getting smashed about, knuckle draggers everywhere, over zealous bouncers on roids looking to steam you, spill someone's pint or make eye contact and you can get into a brawl. And that's just in a club. Then you have to navigate the taxi queue or the kebab shop with the pissed up dickwads who did not pull and are looking to round the evening off with bit of afters.

You, I, Sportbilly and the other Brits on here have grown up knowing the way around these things, we have had to learn avoidance techniques and have heightened awareness when we're out or we'd be rolling around on beer stained carpets every Friday night with the local dickheads. But say a young Belarusian lad gets off the plane in Manchester and heads to Toxteth or Burnley for a night out? He'd have no fucking clue and sense little of the pitfalls. In the same way as if I hit up a rough club in Detroit or Tirana without knowing the way things work I'd be putting myself in the way of a possible brawl.

Apart from the brawling that we take for granted on a northern shit-hole night out there is the shock of seeing the sights: people fucking in bus stops, women unconscious in the street, people spewing up in doorways, women showing their tits and minges to passing motorists. If you grew up thinking UK life is like a scene from a Dicken's novel you'd have a fucking heart attack.

Despite all that, it's a bloody good crack.

I'm a bit late with the reply, but that is an absolute top notch synopsis. I've only recently started hitting up bars/clubs these past 6 months (turned 18) but prior to that I used to try my luck and head out anyway (didn't always succeed) and everything you said brings back a lot of recent memories.

The situation is pretty dire in the outskirts of London too. I'm lucky enough that my uni is situated in South Ken, it's one of the areas in London which is actually really nice for atmosphere and girls.
