RE: Upgrading Text Game to Combat flaking
Just like your voice has a tone, and your body langauge has a tone. I think your texts and emails have a certain tone to them.
I never used to use "lols" and "=)" and all that. I thought it was cheesy.
Lately, I have been experimenting with different styles of texting. Sometimes I use proper English and Grammer, sometimes i use more slang and rite like dis, sometimes I use lots of this shit =) ;/ ^^, , ... !!! ??? jk lol .......and all that.
I think it has helped with the younger girls. When I text a girl 18-24, i do it with a more playful style. If I sense the girl is more studious and formal, I might use more formal English and less @%^^=) ...
As always, read the girl and fine tune your Game to fit her style.

RE: Upgrading Text Game to Combat flaking
I had a text game fail yesterday. Met this girl last weekend. Good IOI, she asked for my number first. Then I took hers before I left. She has asked me that night if I know of any good reggae clubs. I know of a good one that goes on Wednesday nights. I told her about it that night. So Monday, I texted her just to say hi and keep me fresh in her memory. Only had a couple back and forth ones. She responded with "do you know who this is? Do you remember my name? blah blah" After she knew I remembered, it was cool. Told her that I always forget names but I remembered hers so take that as a compliment. She responded well. I told her I needed to head out to the gym as my excuse to get off after a minute or two. I hit her up during the day on Wed. I said, "whatcha getting into tonight? The reggae club we were talking about is going on tonight." She responds back with "where is it?" The spot isn't not too far from her. I tell her the location and then hear nothing back. I text her a bit later to see if she was interesting in going, and never heard back.
I'm kinda new to the phone text game myself. But shit like the above shows that even if it's a woman with good IOIs like if she's asking for your number, they will still flake and be wishy washy.
I figure this, if a girl has a very strong interest and she's actually looking to meet someone, it won't matter whether you call, email, text, facebook or whatever. She'll respond. If a girl is flakey and wishy-washy and you call, she probably won't even pick up when you call, yet alone call back if you leave a message. A flakey girl will probably still respond to a text if it comes off the right away, but getting them to commit to a date is another issue. Flakey type girls hate commitments(I don't mean in the relationship sense but in the committing to meet up and do something sense...esp with a guy they really don't even know). That's why I don't believe in getting the number and leaving right away. I know guys who think it should take no more than a couple minutes from introduction to number close. While you can get numbers from girls that fast, it's going to be a flakey ass number. I probably messed up in not spending enough time talking with this chic to build up strong enough rapport to not get the flake, but the club was closing and I only had about 10 minutes of conversation before the bouncers were moving everyone out.
One thing I can say is that I'm not interested in having days and days of back and forth texts. I'll send maybe one or two rounds of texts before I try to get them out in person. I'll see how it goes. I figure this though, once you've been out on a date and had any good vibing or something physical happen, you don't need to use text anymore, you can just call. But see I'm not a phone person period. I don't like being on the phone for extended periods of time, so for people like me, texting has its uses.
