My neighbours had a 18 year old girl visiting from Sweden, the woman's niece. We have a pretty friendly neigbourhood and we all hang out together. I totally ignored her for the first week she was here even though all the other guys(all married) were acting pathetic and slobbering all over her. She actually initiated her interest when during a neighbourhood party she suggested we go for a walk. We had a great time and I definitely felt a vibe from her.
But, after that apparently she had a talk with the neigbours she was living with about me and they told her I was in my mid 30s, and she had thought I was about 10 years younger.
She changed her vibe after that from one of flirty to referring to me as her "friend". I am pretty sure the age thing killed it for her. She left today, so that's that.
Despite all the pickup material that we learn, I think there are some girls who are just not going to be able to cross that age barrier. The younger they are, the more this is true.

I'm ashamed to say I have sometimes lied about my age in order to get laid. If I sense a girl is very young, especially if they are under 20 its a bit of a gamble. Sometimes they put you in the 'peodo' category as opposed to the 'older man' category. Anything over 21 and your pretty much safe. Win some you loose some.

A sad reality of getting older.

Sometimes younger chicks just think we are "too old". The number 30 is just a turnoff to alot of girls under 22. When I say I'm 30 they sometimes look at me like I just said I was 65 years old.

all you can do is take care of yourself, age gracefully, and find the ones who like older guys.

I sometimes lie. I need to get a fake ID that says I'm 26!

Yeah age or not there will always be some things certain girls just do not like. Could be your color or your hair or accent or whatever...sometimes the littlest things can get in the way.

In Latin America, being over 30 works in your favor. This is simply because women are looking for the more secure, and emotionally stable "boyfriend" who has his shit together, compared to the young, immature, party and drink all night, unfaithful players that guys under 30 are perceived to be. Its very common to see 50 year old men with multiple 20 year old girlfriends in Colombia and other latin countries. Especially when he can "provide" financial security.

3 days ago, I met a french girl at local cafe who was here in the US to study English - she had an INCREDIBLE ass and body, and was on her way to the beach. She was dropping hints that she wanted me to notice her, by locking on to my eyes, smiling and looking my way a few times, and then positioning herself immediately in front of me, almost in my personal space.

When I approached, and grabbed her hand to escalate a social touch, she would not let go of my hand! Even though I slightly tried to pull away to test her...shortly thereafter, we sit down in the patio with our drinks, and she tells me she is 19 years old. She went on to guess my age and shouted "24" - I smiled, and said add 11 years to that love.....and she immediately responded...oh my G...you are old! needless to say, her interest dissipated quickly....had I lied and told her I was 24, I would have probably kissed closed right there.


Lesson learned: If a girl is under 21 - Never say you are older than 27 if you can pull it off! I hate to have to lie, but fuck it..the truth cost me an easy notch!

No, I didn't. And I hinted at the reason in my post. As I said, half the older, all married guys on the street were flirting with her hard. But, more than anything, her "uncle", i.e the guy who's house she was visiting was trying to make the moves on her big time. He was taking her out for long drives and having inappropriate conversations with her. In fact, he cut our walk short. The moment he found out that I had taken her for a walk, he burst out in a jealous rage and kept calling my phone asking me where I was taking her. The whole thing was something out of B movie script.

Damn, that dude sounds like a serious bitch, based on what you're saying I feel sorry for that girl, she must have been uncomfortable. I could see maybe if you were out with his wife and he detected some sexual attraction, but some 18 year old Swedish girl, that;s weak. That dude wasn't really her uncle, I'm hoping?

He actually was her uncle. His wife is Swedish and the girl is his wife's sister's daughter. He's not having sex with his wife anymore. He told the girl this, just one of many inappropriate conversations he had with her. You are right, she was in a very uncomfortable situation. That's why I didn't escalate or kino or anything.

Some girls just get hung up on age and there's nothing you can do. At an old place I used to manage I had a regular who was really beautiful, long curly hair, great skin, amazing tits, but she was just 18 and I was early 30s, however I looked in my 20s. She was gone for awhile and next time she came in I asked her where she'd been, she said Australia. I was like REALLY? and told her the true story of how I always wanted to go there and in fact missed out getting a Trade Certificate at a college in Melbourne where I had been accepted due to me missing the Visa deadline. Next week she comes in and gives me some Australian coins, I'm like IT'S ON.

I ask her out, she says yes, we go to movies kiss close. Next date Dinner, kissing, and hanging out. We're vibing really well and I'm sure I'm going to at least see boobies that night when she talks about a teacher she liked at her school. Well I know the dude and went to school with him and when I tell her that it's like a light switch got flipped, she started freaking out asking how old I was and when I told her she took off. And honestly because of crap like this, I think it is perfectly fine to lie to a girl about your age, if that is what is going to take to get laid. A typical attractive 18 year old gets so much attention from guys of all ages and is so completely self absorbed, that she doesn't give a crap about your or anyone else. If you don't fall within those narrow parameters that have been defined as being acceptable by her circle of friends, you are out in a second. I have no problem lying in such a situation.

One thought - there are so few women that can hold a candle to a Swedish chick, or any well put together Euro chick, in the USA that if you throw one hottie into the suburbs like that all the men go nuts - Rossy in DC had a thought in a post from a few months ago that American women were becoming so slovenly and fat in general - pretty soon the half dozen or so '10' level women left in the USA would have impenetrable bitch shields - I can see that happening.

What looks bad if you're over 30 is that if you are still single, either you must be unmarriageable for some reason (a loser?), or a player. That's their rationalization.
As for 50-yr old dudes having 20-yr old girlfriends in Colombia, yeah that happens, but it is in spite of, not because, the dude was 50-yr old. Other things equal, I'm sure the girl would have preferred a guy closer to her age (if she doesn't have a daddy fetish).

So the solution is to lie. Or just to get married already.

My Muai Thai instructor is a 38 year old black dude, who looks like he's 30, but could probably pass for late 20's. He hangs out at the local bars probably like 4-5 nights a week from the impression I get/what I've observed, dude is a total pimp and pulls mad ass. I'd say that most of the girls I've seen him pull are probably in the mid to late 20s, but that is still pretty good I'd say for a 38 year old. He banged a female friend of mine, she's not hot, probably a 5, but she's 23, and I've seen dude some pretty solid (for here) girls like in the 7-8 range. Thing is the guy is pretty forthcoming about his age, and after you talk to him for a while, he normally mentions it, even if you don't ask him. I'm not sure how he'd fair with the 18-21 year old set though, that's like twice their age, so I think most 18 year old girls would be pretty weirded out by that, and in someways I don't blame them. Mostly though, I think a lot of it boils down to hold old you look and how old you act.
