I don't see the problem. some Koreans vision is actually impaired by their eyelids. Why not act to correct a medical condition?

I lived in Kangnam for a few months back in 2009 and I counted 27 "beauty" clinics on the main road close to where I was staying. Everyone gets the eyelid tuck nowadays, men and women.

I bet 99.9% who undergo plastic eye surgery in South Korea don't have a medical condition so your reasoning is off.

Plastic surgery often gives people an artificial, fake look ... turns me off big time.

I don't understand the hair. Is that how they are suppose to look? You see alot of auburn with younger Japanese girls. In this line up you only see one with lighter color.

After being in Thailand for six weeks, I started looking at girls with different features. Bigger tits, bigger ass, lighter hair, thicker lips. After seeing the same shit different girl the odd ones get the attention whether they are hotter or not. Same shit with this line up.

Of course all of them would get it.

Male preference for large eyes and light skin in women is largely ingrained, although NAMALT, of course.

Women are lighter-skinned and larger-eyed than men across all races. Why?

Both are neotenous, feminine features--signals of youth and trigger feelings of protectionism from men.

That's also why women have less pronounced brow ridges and less robust jaws.

As for the Miss Korea girls' similar facial features? Except for larger eyes and lower robusticity, their facial proportions likely just converge upon the Korean average. Arithmetically average faces are perceived as more attractive. That's why facial composites of multiple people generally look more attractive than most of their constituents.

This does not mean that average-looking girls are actually the most attractive. Arithmetically average != of average attractiveness.

I just saw this image on my facebook. #16 and #14 would get it without the Photoshopping. Anyone else think their hair doesn't look that pleasant to touch? I know plenty of Asian women with silky smooth hair, so I wonder why it appears like that.

Seems like the pics right are shots taken the moment they walked in the door, some without make up?

I've seen much cuter walking around Kangnam on a weekday, Itaewon on weekend night, or Pusan the beach. Some Kpop starlets are always doing promo in kangnam during the day, some of those gals are damn fine, it's a bizarre spectacle though.

Running in beauty pageants is probably not the most respectable thing to do for koreans.
