Free 10 Week Finance Course from Stanford
Don't really know anything about it just saw it and signed up. If it sucks I will just quit, but I thought there may be some interest here, so if you are interested the link is as follows:

It looks like a very typical college intro finance course.

If that is the case, then all such a course does is teach you a bunch of definitions related to interest rates, how bonds work and the variables involved, and how to determine an "optimal" portfolio if you're given certain assumptions (volatility, correlation between securities, etc.) though this Capital Asset Pricing Model means nothing if you don't believe in the assumptions. It's good to learn about this stuff, but the disadvantage is such a course by itself won't really teach you in practical terms which stocks/bonds/funds/etc. to really pick.

No course will. There still appears to be plenty of value in this course.

If it's a Corp Fin course that focuses on things like CAPM, you should skip it. If it's an investing course, may be worth checking out. Hell, even Fama and French don't back CAPM anymore.
