Here in NorCall, opened a 7 about 33, a fast food manager yesterday ( no kidding, very slim and blond in a small town, wonders never cease) and a 6, about 27 grad student ( I think) today.

I'm over 50 so they all know I'm older, and definitely not YoungTallCool.

With both my sense was there was a lack of pupil dilation, poor body language shift towards me.

Still don't understand doing this other than putting yourself in an extreme situation to lose some fear for an easier situation. If you actually wanted to get laid doing this wouldn't your success rate go way up if you spent 1-2 minutes talking to her and rephrased it to something less harsh like "come watch a movie/have drinks at my place tonight" instead of pretty much calling her a slut in 20 seconds.

Ok, I can't vouch for this from personal experience. But Gunwitch, talking specifically about night/club game, suggests using 2 or 3 key questions to sort out her intentions.

The first question (believe it or not), is "Do you come here often?" But he's not using it as an opener, but rather during the conversation, with evil intent.
--if she answers with something witty, she's trying to build rapport with you.
--If she answers "No, I never get out anymore since I (got married/moved to the suburbs/whatever)" she is DTF that night.
--If she answers "Yeah, I come here all the time," she is a club girl; screen for attraction, if she isn't obviously into you, move on.
--If she answers "No, I've never done this/come here before," you have a shot.

The second question is "Are you from around here, where are your friends?" (Gunwitch assumes you open her when she is alone.)

Seriously, I've been in starbucks all day working on mixes of songs on laptop, there's been at least 30 women in and out of here, and I don't think I've see one cold approach except one brief one by me.
