The worst look in my opinion is girls who are caked in makeup, heavy eyebrows, massive amounts of lipstick and painted over skin. In a dark club setting this is sometimes hard to spot...until you get her outside.

I don't know what to think. Most girls look bad without makeup. It's a huge disappointment if a girl wears minimal makeup or no makeup at all on a date. She's written off at that point for not putting in the effort.

Funnily just saw a picture of Emilia Clarke without makeup, she's a good example of the type of girls we approach, it's very easy to see who is heavily 'caked' and who isn't. Of course I've had some hiccups in the past, but you get over it and get that eagle eye.

Makeup messes with my head. On a visceral level - on a night out - an average girl with good makeup will look better than a good looking girl with no makeup.

Nothing you can do about it. Trying to convince girls not to look their best, make up or not, is never going to work. It'll be like girls trying to convince guys not to learn game, but to just "be yourself". Never going to happen. And personally I'd much rather be with a girl who makes an effort. The ones who don't do everything possible to maximise their attractiveness are just incredibly stupid, irrespective of their IQ or degrees's. That's why fat chicks are WAY lower on the status ladder than a typical loser guy. To do nothing about an issue (fat) that is so straightforward to deal with, and can benefit them so much...I don't know, it's a mental condition.

But as for the OP. A bit of an unfair choice. IMHO even with makeup she is a 5. Not ugly. But not pretty either. No, I'm not joking. There really is nothing exceptional about her appearance. The best that can be said about her is that she is not fat. And that really isn't very much at all. She is the type of girl who desperately needs all the help she can get. Makeup, stylish clothing etc. And good for her for taking action on those fronts. Rather than moping on the couch with a tub of ice cream.

The way I see it is girls making themselves up is the same as a lot of the same things we guys do on a regular basis (shave, groom, style our hair, lift, etc.), in order to bang chicks - when I'm out on the town I don't look as disheveled as when I roll out of bed, even if I want to have that unkempt bedhead look. The problem is most women hide behind the makeup, and don't feel right when they don't have their "face" on. They do nothing else to improve themselves, and their complexion behind the mask proves it. Why eat well and keep yourself healthy when you can eat crap, not sleep, not take care of your skin, and all it takes is a little makeup and normally people can't tell?

I dislike too much makeup and loathe a face caked with foundation.
I've sketched and drawn for a long time so I tend to look at facial structure rather than the garish colors slopped on. My brain automatically subtracts the makeup when looking at a chick.

Don't get me wrong, I don't mind minor flaws -- they sometimes add character and charm. But the subconscious downside to this is noticing developing features that won't play out in the long run -- seeing where a double chin will develop, forehead furrows, nascent perioral lines, etc. In my mind I end up seeing how a chick will look twenty years hence. Makeup can't fix that shit.

Crow's feet don't really bother me much. Shows the woman has laughed a lot in her lifetime.

I heard a comedian talk about how people in the west get all worked up over "oppressed" Muslims who wear burqa's to hide their beauty -- when they should be free to wear nothing at all and show off their true selves.

Yet western women do almost the same thing. They hide their "beauty" and "true selves" behind makeup. LOADS of it. To the point where we don't know what they actually look like -- JUST like Muslims.

And it is usually frightening to see them without it.

Even though it's essentially identical, nobody calls makeup "oppressive."

Not really following the premise of this thread as the majority of guys here want women to be more feminine. To denigrate them for improving their appearance is at odds with the stated goals of the "manosphere".

Make-up makes a big difference but in all these celeb pics posted it is probably more a matter of having a professional photographer taking photos from the right angle, with the right lighting and scrubbing out flaws in post.
