These types of studies are always misleading because they are only concerned with the physical which is only a very small part of the attraction story for women.

It’s true that as Men we value (for sound reasons) one thing above all else in a women… PHYSICAL BEAUTY.

Women however are hard wired (for equally sound reasons) to be attracted to one thing above all else in a Man… CONFIDENCE.

Go to the gym all you like but if a guy with game comes along she’ll be off before you‘ve got time to put your dumbbell down, no matter how big your shoulders are.

My advice is by all means keep fit but don’t bother over doing it.

But the real take away from this is;

Stop listening to what women think they are attracted to and start displaying the behaviour we all know they are attracted to.

Pull it all the way back. If you can't (most can't pull it all the way back, due to using slobby form over the years and thus they lack structural integrity of the back and shoulder girdle areas), have a training partner push it that extra inch.

If no training partner, lighten the load. It's more important to get full range of motion and to hold the contraction.

Hold the contraction for 1 second.

On your last set, hold the contraction for as long as possible and do a super slow negative. A 30 second negative is great.

That builds up your entire back structure in a way unlikely to cause injury.

Would the barbell row be anything similar? I've never seen a machine like that one, but it looks like a row to me.

Very similar to the row family of exercises.

I personally feel more activation along the center and middle of the back from bent-over barbell rows, and more posterior deltoid action from face-pulls, with rhomboids and related scapulae-region muscles in both.

As MikeCF said, the better your body is, the further into the attraction phase you will take the reptiles.

Have you ever seen a lizard that looks ordinary in the face and then the body make you a lot more interested?

Again, do NOT underestimate the impact of a well sculpted male body. I have been able to counter a lot of LMR with the very basic singlet and shorts move once they are in my private quarters.

I used to think it was tacky till I tried it and was amazed how powerful it was.

It wasn't based on self reporting, like a survey. They showed women digital photos of nude male bodies with varying height, shoulder width and penis size and observed which proportions of each they best responded to. And at what point they hit diminishing returns.

Sure, but if you load up a lot of weight on the barbell, it can become hell on your elbows. Just be mindful of that.

How often - in the U.S. - do you see a girl and guy together and think, "She is so much better looking than he is."

I know that skinny guys like to think that meat heads are all these really insecure guys and some guy who weighs 135 and goes in with confidence is a killer.

But when you are big and can lift a lot of weight, it's hard not to be confident and to feel like you are better than your would-be competition.

Also, when girls start touching your arms and shoulders, confidence is natural.

A lot of good looking or built guys taking receiving IOIs for granted.

The vast majority of guys get no looks from women at all. This is why the majority of game writers talk about doing cold approaches. As a man you have no idea if a woman is interested because she doesn't signal it at all. But you gotta approach anyway.

If you were doing sales, would you rather make cold calls or would you rather approach warm leads?

A player still has to be a closer. But warm leads are better than cold and a good build or other edge (great style, obvious charisma) warms them up before you move in.

Exactly. I'm no Tyson Beckford, but I'm not a bad looking guy either. I dress decent, I'm in shape and most guess I'm about 8 years younger than my actual age. IOIs for me are pretty damn rare. Most all my approaches are cold. If I get the occasional IOI(from a decent girl I actually want to talk to), that one is the in the bag. If it's a cold approach, then you have to deal with high rates of flaking because her interest-level wasn't high enough. So just for efficiency's sake, I'd rather focus on warm than cold approaching and doing whatever I can to raise my chance of getting IOIs. I don't even want to imagine how tough it has to be for guys who are decidedly unattractive.

You really have to tailor your workout to your body type and where you genetically build muscle. That is why workout guides on the internet are basically useless. They are too one-size-fits-all.

For example, if I followed the conventional wisdom of squats, deadlifts, barbell bench and military press only, I would not fit into any pair of jeans or shirt known to man. Because my legs and shoulders are genetically jacked, whereas I need to spend extra time on my back and especially chest to see any results.

So for me, it's 3-4 chest exercises for every 1-2 leg exercises. And I only use the sleds for squats and leg press, rarely the barbell.

Waist to shoulder ratio is the most important thing for looks, followed by having big strong legs.

If you have a jacked chest, shoulders, upper back and thighs, and a skinny waist, you will have the girls ripping your clothes off. At least IME. Cheers.

Alright. I realized that I have been neglecting my upper back and lat region earlier this week. I thought doing deadlift and pullups would have been good enough, but I did some rows on Monday and it seemed to stimulate the upper back in ways that pullups and deadlifts do not. I'll be incorporating that into my routine from now on.

I actually agree with this. I notice that also many women think we men like big tits, so they flock to get boob jobs because of it, although true, its not the only thing I look for in a woman. Ive had bitches where many of them didnt have big breasts and I never thought anything of it. Although having big tits on a girl helps, I wouldnt turn down a B-cup who is a 10 just because of the tits. Same here with the penis size and all.
