That's hilarious bro. My father, an attorney, always bags me for not going to law school, or graduate school(partially because my grades weren't that stellar due to my indifference and also due to the fact I don't want to go hundreds of thousands of dollars into debt to get a piece a paper that will take me decades to pya off most likely).

Those six words were an integral part of his post-college game and used it to score several notches before he met my mother. I will admit, it is a good way to build rapport and social value. It is funny you mention "wasp'y" professional women. Both my parents met in law school, at a bar during happy hour, and my non-wasp dad used his law school game to bag my WASP mom.

My view on this is the same as Roosh's. Any girl that obsesses over your job pre-relationship is a waste of time. My policy is, if she asks, and doesn't accept my obvious brush off aloof answer, I will politely end the conversation. However, if their is a super classy broad at a high end club or bar, I will straight up lie to build rapport and social value if the situation calls for it and I can get the lay that night or within the first two dates(before it evolves into a relationship where true personal info is revealed), then I can break it off. My policy is, it is absolutely ok to lie to a shallow and vain girl like that if you just use her for a pump and dump.

These 6 words may keep her from blowing you out at the outset, but I can't believe they bring any tingles to vast majority of girls. This is a low-grade version of "do you know who I am?" Maybe poor girls will get excited b/c, but even that I doubt.

Since you're in the East Coast, why don't you tell them you're partnered up with some hedge fund or consulting firm in NYC or Connecticut ? The drawback is, you ultimately need the $$$ to back it up unless you're purely trying to get a one night stand (which I believe is your objective anyway).

At least those women will be familiar with those professions and the money it entails. Women in other less Wall Street / Ivy heavy regions might respond with a blank face.

They don't really need it. The other things they offer (status, wealth, power, prestige, access, etc) are worth more than most can muster.

Why would any one be impressed by an actual attorney, much less someone going to/thinking of going to law school? You can't pick up a rock without finding a lawyer underneath and anyone willing to pay tuition can get into law school somewhere. And in the current market most law grads will basically be unemployable in their field. So best case scenario you're saying in 3 years time you'll have 6 figures in debt and a job as a peon paper shuffler where after NYC taxes you have an unexceptional middle class income. I think you'd need to troll the slums to find someone impressed by this.

The JFK lookalike is more impressive if he knows how to sail, ride a horse, etc. At least that is a real skill.

The lawyer card works well as a booster when properly applied, i.e. after already establishing value.
