I don't have access to RoK's stats, but I imagine they're off the charts. My own blog has seen its traffic triple, in part thanks to white knights giving me free publicity with "best-of" lists like this.

I like Matt Forney, his style of writing and his insights on a several issues. I even have his blog bookmarked & visit it weekly.

But when i first saw a video of him i was slightly disappointed.

I dont want to sound like a dick , but complaining about the lack of attractiveness of Portland/ American women while being pleasantly plump himself , with little regard for style is very hypocritical to say the least.

I really hope some of my favorite posters here like Basil, Samseau, Westcoast ... etc are not like that.

I don't get offended when people insult my looks because I'm actively working to improve them. I lift three times a week, I eat Paleo, and I go for a walk daily. I don't sit around on my ass shoveling down ice cream whining about how people need to accept me for "who I am," which is precisely what the feminists in Portland do.

Additionally, that picture of me was taken while I was on my hitchhiking trip. If I had brought nice clothes on that trip, they would have just been ruined by that point, seeing as I was walking 10-20 miles a day while carrying a 80-pound backpack, as well as climbing barbed wire fences, crossing creeks and railroad tracks, and generally pushing myself to the limit. Hell, that pic was taken a week after I left Williston, North Dakota, where I'd been employed digging ditches, flagging and other blue-collar jobs where you get more exercise in a day than most Portlanders get in a month.

Also, as I wrote to bodman originally on my article, I wrote it not for myself but taking in consideration the needs/wants of RoK/RVF readers/members. Part of being a good writer is knowing what your audience wants, and I know you guys don't want to date fat, pierced feminists. I don't need to be an Adonis to point out what's both readily observable with my own eyes and corroborated by Bronan and everyone else who's ever lived here.

Props for hitting the road like a motherfucker, Matt. I don't much mind when people criticize those things I can control, either, because I'm usually 10x more critical of myself then they ever are.

Hell, for all the "misogyny" floating around this forum, the most detailed and debated items are almost solely in the self-improvement categories. As Roosh pointed at some time ago, a lot of people think we are oppressing women by not paying attention to their lies and making ourselves more attractive to them.

Nerd rage just doesn't translate to real life. When I meet the sources of these voluminous postings in person, they have poor interpersonal skills and odd, uncomfortable body language. They think they're fulfilling the manic pixie trope, but instead they're just twitchy, shifty eyed, unable to make eye contact and with a flabby, weak handshake.

But the other thing is they literally can't shut up the fuck up for five minutes. They suffer non-stop, constant verbal diarrhea. They're the kind of asshole that you can never take hunting or fishing because not scaring the game away takes being silent for a few hours, maybe even all day. If you ask one of these nerds to hold his lips together that long, his brain would literally explode because he absolutely has to talk out loud about some episode of Dr. Who. It's important to have the social skills to chat a bird up to establish comfort while also reading her responses to establish rapport, as Roosh outlines in Bang; nerd run-on of the mouth is a whole different level of having an unfocused, constantly distracted mind that just blurts forth media tropes and supposedly clever snarky dialog memorized from television and comic strips over and over again, coupled with an aspergers level inability to read people's boredom with their shit. You know that guy who can repeat every Monty Python episode and talks along with it when its on the TV? Yeah, that guy.

Unfortunately rather than putting the effort into self improvement and growing past these personality flaws, they spend all their time addicted to communication mediums where these limitations are masked. Like ASCII text posts on the internet.

On-line they will pile on with their shallow virtual friends in two minutes of hate attempts at group shame. But let's also be clear: This personality type sock puppets constantly to make it appear there are people that agree with them. On the internet, no body knows that that group of 50 people is actually just one guy with 50 accounts and waaaaaay too much time on his hands. Particularly on newspaper comment sections that don't track IP addresses. If a bunch of accounts sound alike and say the same thing, it's generally because there's just one guy posting across multiple accounts, pretending to be a group.
